The Union Public Service Commission will declare the UPSC result 2024 on its official website upsc.gov.in/upsconline.nic.in. The UPSC Prelims exam was conducted on June 16, 2024. The UPSC prelims 2024 result will be released in the form of a PDF which the candidates can download and refer. The UPSC prelims result 2024 will usually be declared within 15-20 days of the prelims exam. Candidates who clear the UPSC exam 2024 will be qualified into the Mains exam. The UPSC 2024 prelims result will be released on the official website and will be in the form of a PDF. It contains the names and roll numbers of the candidates who have qualified in the exam. The UPSC cut off 2024 will also be released around the same time so that the candidates can check their qualifying status. The UPSC result 2024 will be released after every stage of the examination.

Around 180 candidates are selected for IAS through the UPSC exam.
The basic UPSC salary of an IAS officer will start at Rs 56,100 and will raise up to Rs 2,50,000.
There isn't a single lower rank in UPSC. However, we can see it as an entry level position. The UPSC ranks include Junior Scale (Sub-Divisional Magistrate/Assistant Collector), an IAS Trainee, Selection Grade (Deputy Collector/Deputy Secretary), etc.
After the announcement of the UPSC result 2024, the qualified candidates will be called for the interview round. The UPSC cut off will be released after the final results have been announced,
Once a candidate submits his/her preference, it cannot be changed.
