UPSC Civil Services exam has three stages - CSE prelims exam 2024, mains and personality test. The UPSC IAS 2024 cut off will be released separately for all the stages of the UPSC CSE exam.

Candidates clearing the UPSC IAS cut off 2024 prelims are eligible to appear for the UPSC Civil Services mains examination. UPSC IAS mains exam has 9 papers in a total of 1750 marks. The UPSC IAS mains cut off marks are determined out of 1750.
Only 3 times the number of candidates qualify for the IAS mains exam and are eligible to appear for the UPSC IAS personality test. The marks of Indian language and English language will not be considered for determining the UPSC IAS mains cut off but candidates need to secure 25% marks in them to clear the CSE mains stage.
