UPSC Civil Services 2019 - Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released UPSC Civil Services admit card for mains exam on August 30. Candidates who have been declared qualified in the preliminary exam have been issued admit card to appear for mains exam. To download UPSC Civil Services admit card 2019, candidates have to either enter roll number or registration ID. The mains exam will be held on from September 20, 21, 22, 28 & 29, 2019. UPSC has announced the result of UPSC Civil Services 2019 prelims exam, on July 12 in the form of PDF. All those candidates who have qualified in the prelims exam of UPSC Civil Services were able to fill the mains application form from August 1 to 16, 2019. The authority had conducted UPSC Civil Services preliminary exam on June 2, 2019. Civil Services examination is conducted to select candidates for the Indian Administrative Service, Indian Foreign Service, Indian Police Service and Central Services Group A and Group B. PSC Civil Services admit card 2019 for mains exam has been issued on August 30, 2019. The admit card is only available for those candidates who have qualified the preliminary exam. The admit card of UPSC Civil Services is released separately for preliminary, mains and interview. First, UPSC releases the admit card for preliminary exam followed by the release of admit card for mains and personality test. UPSC Civil Services admit card 2019 for preliminary exam had been released on May 1, 2019. The admit card for preliminary exam has been issued to candidates who have successfully fill the application form. UPSC Civil Services admit card 2019 for Interview will be released in January 2020.
The result of UPSC Civil Services has been announced. The result is available in the form of PDF as well as the name and roll number of qualified candidates. UPSC Civil Services result 2019 for prelims has been declared based on candidates marks in General Studies Paper 1 and 2. To qualify the paper 2, candidates needed to secure qualifying marks of 33% i.e 66 marks. Marks obtained in the prelims exam are not counted for the final merit list. On the basis of UPSC Civil Services result 2019 of the preliminary exam, candidates 12 to 13 times the number of vacancies have been selected for the mains exam. The total marks of the preliminary exam have been calculated out of 400 marks.
The result of UPSC Civil Services Exam is released in three stages – preliminary, mains and final. The result of mains and final will be announced in December and March/April. The written test of Civil Services mains exam comprises nine papers, of which Paper A (Indian Languages) and Paper B (English) are qualifying in nature. The qualifying marks in Paper A and B is 25 %. Candidates will be shortlisted for interview based on the score of Paper 1 to 7, 2019. The marks of mains exam will be determined out of 1750 marks. Candidates twice the number of vacancies have been selected for personality test. The final Civil Services result 2019 will be declared in March/April 2020. All India Merit List will be prepared based on candidates performance in mains exam and interview. Based on the rank in the merit list, candidates will be allotted to various cadres.

The eligibility criteria of UPSC Civil Services has been prescribed by the examination authority. To be eligible for the exam, candidates need to fulfil UPSC Civil Services eligibility criteria in terms of age, educational qualification and number of attempts. Age: Applicants age should be between 21 to 32 years
Educational Qualification - Candidates must have graduation in any discipline.
Number of attempts - Candidates appearing in the exam will be permitted only six attempts.
The application form of UPSC Civil Services 2019 Preliminary exam has been released on February 19, 2019. The last date to fill UPSC Civil Services application form and pay the fees online is March 19, 2019 (6 pm). The facility to generate the challan will expire a day before the closing of the application process. Fee for general and OBC category candidates is Rs 100 while female/SC/ST/PWD candidates are exempted from payment of application fees. The examination authority will activate the link to withdraw UPSC Civil Services application form 2019 after completion of the application process. Candidates who do not wish to appear for the exam can withdraw their application form. Candidates qualifying the preliminary exam of UPSC Civil Services will have to fill the Detailed Application Form (DAF) online for appearing in the mains exam. The DAF will be released after declaration of result of preliminary exam.
The exam centres of UPSC Civil Services 2019 lists out the names of the cities where the preliminary and mains exam of UPSC Civil Services will be conducted. There will be multiple UPSC Civil Services exam centres in a particular city. Candidates are required to enter their preferences of exam centres while filling the application form. there is no colleges which provide ias exam courses along with bsc curriculum. see ias exam is a competitive exam and if you want to join as an ias officer you need to self study a lot beside your graduation, and take special coaching for ups exmas. however there is several exams like upsc prelims and mains need to qualify along with personal interview rounds. hope you may understand.
UPSC examination is the one you should answer if you aspire to join the Indian Administrative services. For eligibility, you should hold a valid Graduate's degree from a recognized university and be at least 21 years old as of August 1 of the year of the examination.
It is held in two parts: The preliminary examination, which tests your knowledge of current and world affairs, climate change, India's and the world's geography, ecology, comprehension skills, logical skills, problem solving abilities etc. 33% is needed to pass this stage which consists of two papers.
Next comes the written test and the personality Interview. For the written test, you need to have an excellent knowledge of world and current affairs, Technical developments, geography, social scenarios, ethics, culture, environment and two papers based on any one regional language which you can choose. If selected, you will be called for the Personality Interview which will gauge the mental qualities of the candidate.
The UPSC exam is held for securing jobs in the Indian Administrative Services and the eligibility criteria are are follows:
Must be a citizen of India, a subject of Nepal , Bhutan or a refugee from Tibet.
Must hold a PASS Bachelor's degree from a deemed University.

There's no such thing as best degree for IAS.You need to be a graduate to be eligible to appear for UPSC IAS exam.So, it depends on your present interest, you can pursue B.tech after passing your 12th, you can also pursue any other 3 year degree.The syllabus for IAS is not entirely same as any other degree syllabus.So it doesn't matter which course you choose.
But make sure that you pursue what interests you.
