UPSC Civil Services Mains 2015 Exam Pattern & Syllabus – Union Public Service Commission has specified Exam Pattern & Syllabus of UPSC Civil Services Mains 2015 for the candidates seeking to appear in the exam. The Main Exam of UPSC Civil Services 2015 comprises written exam and personality test. The written exam contains papers qualifying in nature (600 marks) as well as papers to be counted for merit (2025 marks).Paper A and Paper B of UPSC Civil Services Mains 2015 are qualifying in nature papers and the marks obtained in these papers will not be considered while counting the ranking of candidates. However, only those candidates, who secure at least 25 percent in Paper A and 25 percent in Paper B, will be taken into consideration while making the ranking based on General Studies and Optional Subjects papers.

UPSC Civil Services 2015 Exam is done in three stages – Preliminary, Mains & Interview. The UPSC Civil Services Prelims 2015, was held on August 23 at various centers across India was just a screening test. UPSC Civil Services Mains is of evaluative nature and those who qualify in the Mains level will be called in for UPSC Civil Services Interview.
UPSC Civil Services Mains Exam 2015 will be held tentatively in the month of December 2015 and those candidates who qualify the Main exam will be called for personality development test and interview round, after which the qualifying candidates will be appointed as Civil Servants as per rank in the entrance exam.
