UPSC Civil Services Cutoff 2019

UPSC Civil Services (IAS) Cut off 2019 - Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is to release UPSC Civil Services IAS 2019 cut off only after the final Result. UPSC Civil Services IAS cut off 2019 is released for each stage of the exam – prelims, mains and final cut off. The cut off of UPSC Civil Services exam is the minimum marks that the last candidate selected for the next exam stage has obtained. UPSC Prelims cut off 2019 is calculated out of 200 marks. UPSC Civil Services 2019 Prelims exam was conducted on June 2.
Based on UPSC Civil Services IAS cut off 2019 for prelims exam candidates are selected to appear for mains exam. UPSC the exam conducting authority determines UPSC Civil Services mains cutoff 2019 out of 1750 marks. Candidates securing equal to or more than the prescribed UPSC Civil Services cut off 2019 in mains will be called for interview. After completion of the interview, the Commission will prepare UPSC Civil services final cut off as per aggregate marks secured in mains and interview. In 2018, UPSC Civil Services cutoff for final selection was 982 for general category, 938 for OBC, 912 for SC and ST.

UPSC Civil Services IAS Cutoff 2019 - Preliminary exam

The Commission prepares UPSC Civil Services prelims cutoff 2019 on the basis of General Studies (GS) Paper 1 only. However, candidates are required to secure at least 33% in GS Paper 2 to qualify for the exam. UPSC will prepare the cut off separately for each category. UPSC Civil Services 2019 for prelims exam is a screening test and is qualifying in nature. Therefore, marks secured in this stage will not be considered while preparing UPSC Civil Services cut off 2019 for final selection. UPSC Civil Services IAS Cutoff 2019 - Mains Exam

Candidates securing the prescribed cut off or more in prelims will be shortlisted for mains exam. UPSC IAS mains comprises total of 9 papers. However, the cut off of mains is determined on the basis of 7 papers as Paper A and B are qualifying in nature, i.e., candidates have to obtain minimum 25% in both Paper A and B to be considered eligible for the next stage of the examination. UPSC Civil Services cut off 2019 for mains is calculated out of 1750 marks. As per marks secured in UPSC Civil Services mains, candidates two times the number of vacancies will be shortlisted for Personality Test (Interview). UPSC Civil Services Final Cut off 2019

The Commission will prepare the final UPSC Civil Services cut off 2019 on the basis of aggregate marks obtained in mains and interview. The cut off will be determined on the basis of total marks secured by candidates out of 2025 marks. UPSC Civil Services Answer Key 2019

The answer key of UPSC Civil Services Preliminary exam is released after the declaration of the final result. hi,

there is no colleges which provide ias exam courses along with bsc curriculum. see ias exam is a competitive exam and if you want to join as an ias officer you need to self study a lot beside your graduation, and take special coaching  for ups exmas. however there is several exams like upsc prelims and mains need to qualify along with personal interview rounds. hope you may understand.

HI Harsha,

UPSC examination is the one you should answer if you aspire to join the Indian Administrative services. For eligibility, you should hold a valid Graduate's degree from a recognized university and be at least 21 years old as of August 1 of the year of the examination.

It is held in two parts: The preliminary examination, which tests your knowledge of current and world affairs, climate change, India's and the world's geography, ecology, comprehension skills, logical skills, problem solving abilities etc. 33% is needed to pass this stage which consists of two papers.

Next comes the written test and the personality Interview. For the written test, you need to have an excellent knowledge of world and current affairs, Technical developments, geography, social scenarios, ethics, culture, environment and two papers based on any one regional language which you can choose. If selected, you will be called for the Personality Interview which will gauge the mental qualities of the candidate.

Hello Vidhya,  as per the eligibility criteria of UPSE exams candidate must not have age more than 32 years. And as per your mentioned date of birth,  Your age should be 31 years. So you are fit in age criteria.  And BCA Is also a undergraduate degree,  so you have completed graduation also. So you are eligible to apply for UPSE exam this year.

Hi Aspirant,

The UPSC exam is held for securing jobs in the Indian Administrative Services and the eligibility criteria are are follows:

Must be a citizen of India, a subject of Nepal , Bhutan or a refugee from Tibet.

Must hold a PASS Bachelor's degree from a deemed University.

Must be older than 21 years of age but younger than 32 as of on the 1st of August of the year of the exam.

Hello Anuradha,

There's no such thing as best degree for IAS.You need to be a graduate to be eligible to appear for UPSC IAS exam.So, it depends on your present interest, you can pursue B.tech after passing your 12th, you can also pursue any other 3 year degree.The syllabus for IAS is not entirely same as any other degree syllabus.So it doesn't matter which course you choose.

But make sure that you pursue what interests you.
