UPSC Civil Services 2014 Important Dates – Union Public Service Commission has announced UPSC Civil Services 2014 Important Dates. The application process for UPSC Civil Services 2014 began on May 31 and continued till June 30. UPSC Civil Services 2014 Application Form Dates were announced on May 31.

As per UPSC Civil Services 2014 dates, the eligible candidates for Prelims can download their admit card from July 24, 2014. The Preliminary Exam will be held on August 24, 2014. The applicants, who qualify Prelims round, will be called for the Main Exam in September or October, 2014.

UPSC has also announced Exam Pattern, Selection Process and Important Dates with announcing the Important Dates for the exam.

 

UPSC will conduct preliminary exam for UPSC Civil Services 2014 on August 24 to fill up around 1,291 vacancies in civil services including Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS) and Central Services (Group A and Group B).

 

Candidates, who qualify Prelims round, will be called for the Main Exam in September or October, 2014. Mains round includes written exam and personality test. Qualifying candidates in Mains round will be appointed as Civil Servants.

 

The exam will be conducted for total of 1291 vacancies. Out of the total vacancies, 26 vacancies are reserved for Physically Handicapped Category. The 26 reserved seats are further divided for 12 vacancies for LDCP, 2 Vacancies for B/LV and 12 Vacancies for HI.
