TS SET 2019 - Osmania University has issued the dates for certificate verification which will be held from September 4 to 7, 2019. Candidates who have qualified for TS SET can appear for certificate verification which will be held subject wise in two shifts (9 am to 12.30 pm) & (1.30 to 5 pm). TS SET result was declared TS SET Result for the exam in online mode on August 23, 2019. A total of 2,738 Candidates are declared qualified out of the total number of candidates who have appeared in TS SET 2019 exam. Along with the declaration of result authority has also released the cut off and answer key of TS SET exam. Earlier TS SET was held on July 5 & 6, 2019 in two shifts (9 to 12 noon) and (2 to 5 pm) and 32284 candidates were appeared in the exam. Osmania University has released the result of TS SET 2019 on August 23, 2019. TS SET results is declared in the form of PDF file containing the roll numbers of the qualified candidates. However, later the scorecard of TS SET will be released in online mode. Candidates can check their TSSET results by simply downloading the pdf link and finding their roll number in that. Further, TS SET scorecard can be downloaded online by entering the hall ticket number and password.

The cut off of TSSET is released by Osmania University along with the result on August 23, 2019. The university has released the TS SET cutoff 2019 subject-wise and category-wise as per the different papers separately. The TS SET cut off marks are the minimum marks required to be considered in the list of qualified candidates. Only candidates securing the minimum cut off marks of TSSET 2019 are considered eligible/qualified as Assistant Professors.

The answer key of TSSET is also released along with the response sheet on August 23, 2019 in online mode. The TS SET answer key 2019 carries the correct keys against the questions asked in the exam. First, Osmania University has released the provisional answer key and then later (after considering the challenges of the candidates against the answer key), the final TSSET answer key will be released. TSSET 2019 admit card is available in online mode for only those candidates whose applications would have been accepted by the exam conducting authority. The eligibility criteria of TS SET is determined by Osmania University wherein some basic requirements are to be met by the aspiring candidates if they wish to apply and appear for the exam. TS SET eligibility include basic requirements related to age, educational background, etc. TS-SET 2019 eligibility criteria have to be met by the aspiring candidates at any cost.
Candidates with Masters Degree (with at least 55% marks for general category) and 50% marks (without rounding off for reserved categories - SC/ST/OBC) are eligible. The subjects of their post-graduation have to be among the 29 subjects listed by the Osmania University. Though candidates are suggested to appear in the exam as per the subject of their post-graduation, however, if they don’t find the subject of their post-graduation in the list, then they can appear for the related subjects also.
Appearing candidates of post-graduation or candidates whose result is awaited can also apply for the exam. However, such candidates must pass the masters within 2 years from the date of TSSET 2019 result with the required 55% (General) and 50% (for reserved categories).
Candidates with Ph.D. degree (whose Masters examination had been completed by September 19, 1992 (irrespective of date of declaration of result) are eligible to avail relaxation of 5% (i.e from 55% to 50%) for appearing in TS-SET.
Candidates with post-graduate diploma/certificate by Indian University/ Institute or foreign degree/diploma/certificate by the foreign University/ Institute must ensure the equivalence of their diploma/degree/certificate with Masters degree (of recognized Indian universities from Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi.
TS-SET 2019 application form was available in online mode from March 27 to May 13. Only eligible candidates must fill the online application of TSSET 2019, to avoid any rejection at any stage (in case of not meeting the eligibility). TS SET online application process includes these stages - registration, form filling, uploading documents and fee payment. Check the detailed stages below.

Step 1 – Candidates have to visit the official website of TSSET 2019 and click on new registration button and register with the required details.
Step 2 – After registration, candidates have to fill the application form in detail entering their personal, academic and details related to their address, etc., plus select the exam centres.
Step 3 – Further, the digital or scanned copies of passport size photograph, signature, and caste certificate have to be uploaded as per the specifications above.
Step 4 – Pay the fee in online mode using Credit Card/ Debit Card (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets. Check the fee details below.

TS SET 2019 exam pattern includes information about various elements of the exam like mode of paper, time allotted, marking scheme, topic-distribution, etc. While preparing for the exam, the candidates must check the TS SET scheme of exam to know the weightage given to different topics, mode, etc. so that the preparation can be done accordingly. TSSET 2019 will be held for two papers. Both papers have objective type questions only. TSSET 2019 will be held in two separate sessions as under:

Paper I had 50 objective type questions, carrying 2 marks each. All 50 questions were compulsory. The questions were of general nature, intended to assess the teaching/research aptitude of the candidate. Paper I was primarily be designed to test reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking and general awareness of the candidate. Candidates had to complete the test in 1 hour.
Paper II had 100 objective type compulsory questions with each question carrying 2 marks. Candidates had to mark the answers for questions of Paper-I & Paper-II on the Optical Mark Reader (OMR) Sheet with the test booklet. Paper 2 had to be finished in 2 hours.
The syllabus of TS SET is released by Osmania University for the sake of the appearing candidates.
