TNTET Application Form 2019 - Teachers Recruitment Board, Tamil Nadu had released the application form of TNTET 2019 online on March 15, 2019. Candidates could apply for TNTET Application Form 2019 till April 12, 2019 (5 pm). Candidates must fill TNTET application form separately for Paper-I and Paper-II as per the prescribed eligibility criteria released by the commission. To fill TNTET 2019 application form candidates had to fill basic details like name, roll number date of birth, paper applied, communal category, date of birth, address etc, upload photograph and signature and pay the requisite fee.

The payment of TNTET application form 2019 was done online through Net banking/Credit Card/Debit Card and offline through Demand Draft / Postal order. While filling the application form candidates must ensure all the details entered are correct as the commission has not allow to it changed later. Steps to fill TNTET Application Form 2019

Step 1 - Registration

  • Candidates had to register by entering email id, mobile number, name and password

  • The new registration id and password was created. The same was sent to their registered number and email id

Step 2 - Filling basic Details

  • Candidates had to provide basic information like name of the candidate, paper applied, communal category, date of birth, address and all other fields

  • Candidates must ensure the details entered by the candidates are correct and save the details

Step 3 - Uploading photograph and signature

  • Candidates had to upload the scanned photograph and signature and proceed further

Step 5 - Taking the printout of TNTET application Form 2019

Post the payment of TNTET application form 2019, candidates must take a printout of e-challan and application form.

TNTET 2019 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria of TNTET has been prescribed by the Teachers Recruitment Board, Tamil Nadu. Candidates who wish to appear for TNTET Paper-I (for classes I-V) and Paper-II (for classes VI-VII) is defined by the commission separately. To appear for paper - I exam the minimum educational qualification is Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, etc.

The eligibility criteria for candidates who wish to appear for paper 2 is Graduation and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.), etc.

tntet 2020 paper 1 eligibility criteria

Hello Sheik,

candidates can apply for TNTET  paper 1 or paper2 or both as per the eligibility.

for TNTET paper1:

  • All the aspiring candidates must have completed and passed 10+2/HSC and also must have a Diploma in Education/Diploma in Elementary Education from a recognized institute

  • Or, candidates who are in final year and appearing for D.E.Ed. can also apply for TNTET 2019. However, during documents verification candidates will have to provide the D.E.Ed certificate or else they will not be eligible to receive the TET eligibility certificate

Hello team, Would like to understand the tet process.. Im seeing so many people who had completed there btech /be and try to know that whether they can eligible to apply for exam.. As per my understanding, they can apply only if they completed b. ed along with be/btech.. Maelum this correct??

Hello,

Yes, it's imperative to do teacher's training program whether it's BEd or DEd for a candidate to be in teaching profession whether it's through CTET or State Level TETs. It doesn't matter whether your degree in discipline of science, commerce, technical, management etc.

Along with being a graduate from a recognized University, BEd or DEd is important.

see the eligibility criteria differs to paper wise ,

for paper 1, candidate need to have bed in nursery tearchers training or diploma in elementary education,

for paper 2, candidate need to have a graduation degree in ba/bsc/b.lit degree with the subjects of tamil, English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, History and Geography with 10+2+3 pattern from a recognized university.

The Tamil Nadu Teachers' Entrance Test will  be held in May 2020. You are eligible for both Paper-1 and paper-2 of this examination. however,, you need to complete a B.Ed, 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or a Diploma in Special Education.
