SSC JHT Application Form 2025
The SSC JHT 2025 application form will be released in online mode on the official website. The last date to fill the application form will be mentioned the SSC JHT notification. The application form of SSC JHT can be filled in two parts. In part 1, candidates need to register themselves by entering basic details like name, gender, date of birth, etc.
After successful registration, candidates can proceed with part 2 where they have to add academic details, select the exam centres and pay the SSC JHT application fee. In part 2, they have to upload a scanned image of the photograph and signature in the SSC JHT 2025 registration form as per the specifications.

The Staff Selection Commission prescribes the SSC JHT 2025 eligibility criteria for all applicants wanting to appear for the exam. The SSC JHT eligibility criteria 2025 consists of age, academic qualification and nationality. Applicants fulfilling the JHT eligibility criteria will be able to fill the application form.

SSC JHT notification - Age Limit
Applicants must not have crossed 30 years for general category candidates whereas reserved category applicants are given relaxation in the upper age limit.
SSC JHT notification - Academic Qualification
Candidates with a masters degree in Hindi or English can apply for the SSC JHT exam. The education qualification also differs as per various posts.
SSC JHT Selection Process 2025
Staff Selection Commission conducts the Junior Hindi Translator exam in two-stage - Paper 1 & 2. Candidates will undergo two phases of evaluation and will have to appear for two papers. The first paper is conducted in a computer-based test. The questions will be of objective type nature. Candidates qualifying in the SSC JHT paper I will have to appear for paper II. Paper-II will be in pen and paper descriptive type mode. The candidates will be finally selected on the basis of the SSSC JHT results of paper II.

The SSC JHT exam pattern consists of the marking scheme, time duration of the test, the total number of questions etc. Candidates planning to prepare for the exam must go through the detailed SSC JHT 2025 exam pattern.
As per the SSC JHT exam pattern 2025, there are two stages - Paper 1 which is in computer-based mode and Paper 2 which is in descriptive test. Paper 1 will have questions from General Hindi and General English, while in Paper 2 candidates will have to write essays and do the translation.

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) mentions the exam centres on the candidate's individual admit card. Those appearing for the exam must know about exam centres of SSC JHT 2025 while applying. If you have cleared the SSC JHT exam but do not have your diploma degree at the time of the selection process you may face challenges with your eligibility for appointment. Typically SSC and similar examination boards require candidates to have completed their educational qualifications by the time of the document verification process.
In most of the cases the final selection and appointment are dependent on the submission of all required documents including the proof of educational qualifications. If you are unable to provide your diploma during the selection process due to its pending status it can affect your eligibility for the appointment.
However you can check if the SSC allows for a provisional acceptance or has a specific provision for candidates who are in the process of obtaining their degrees by visiting their official website and then get an idea that whether you might be able to provide a certificate or an affidavit from your institution confirming that you have completed all necessary coursework and will receive your diploma shortly.

Yes, you are eligible to sit for the SSC (Junior Hindi Translator) exam even if you did not study Hindi in your B.A. or M.A. in English.
The SSC JHT exam evaluates a candidate's proficiency in Hindi and English. While having studied Hindi in your previous degrees can be beneficial, it is not a strict requirement. As long as you meet the general eligibility criteria for the exam (such as educational qualifications and age limits), you can apply and appear for it.
However, it's advisable to prepare thoroughly for the Hindi language section of the exam. You might want to consider taking Hindi language courses or practicing Hindi grammar and vocabulary to enhance your skills.

The eligibility criteria for SSC JHT exam 2022 is as follows :
1. the candidate must not be over 30 years of age. 30 years is the maximum age limit.
II. The candidate must have the following educational qualifications :

Master’s degree in English with Hindi or vice versa as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level

HOWEVER as per the notifications , this is not compulsory to have one english and one hindi in masters degree. candidates who has completed masters course in hindi with english as compulsory subject or have studied in english medium on degree level are eligible to apply. or candidates who has completed masters course in english with hindi as compulsory subject or have studied in hindi medium on degree level are eligible to apply.
