Application process for SSC CHSL 2014 Exam has began on July 19. SSC Intermediate 2014 Exam application process will end on August 19 this year.
The commission will conduct SSC CHSL 2014 Exam to fill up around 10,000 vacancies in the central Government’s Clerical cadre. Last year over 8,400 vacancies were filled up through the similar process. A total of 22,24,981 candidates had appeared for the written exam in 2013.

SSC CHSL 2014 Application Form – The registration of candidates for the recruitment exam will begin on July 19, 2014. The application process will end on August 19. SSC will made available the application form in both online mode and paper mode. A candidate can fill up only one application, either a paper application or online application, and submit it to the concerned Regional/Sub-Regional office of SSC.
SSC CHSL 2014 Eligibility Criteria – The candidate, applying for the competitive exam, Must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent or higher examination from a recognized Board or University. He/She must be a citizen of India and aged between 18 years to 27 years as on August 1, 2014.
SSC CHSL 2014 Important Dates – The list of the tentative important dates for the exam is as below:

SSC CHSL 2014 Exam Pattern – In the objective-type paper, there will be a total of 200 questions, carrying 1 mark each. The question paper will be divided into 4 parts – General Intelligence, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and General Awareness. Each part will contain 50 questions. There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
SSC CHSL 2014 Selection Process – Candidates, who qualify in the Written Objective Type Exam by securing minimum qualifying marks, will be called for Skill Test or Typing Test. These tests are qualifying in nature and the selection will be made from the list of those candidates who qualify in these tests. The commission will recommend the qualifying candidates of second round for appointment on the basis of their performance in the written test.
SSC CHSL 2014 Admit Card – SSC will make available the admit card for the exam to the applicants tentatively in September or October 2014. No candidate without admit card will be allowed in the examination centre.
SSC CHSL 2014 Result – The result for the exam is expected to be announced in December 2014. Candidates, who qualify in the Written Objective Type Exam by securing minimum qualifying marks, will be called for Skill Test or Typing Test.

For the LDC/JSA Post there are 1269 vacancies
For the PA/SA post there are 3598 vacancies
And finally for DEO Post there are 26 vacancies

I m so confused to choose a right career n involved in two options a.i should do btech or b.i should do Bsc and with that ssc chsl and many more govt jobs??? so I dont have to waste time.....what is right??
If you want to go for ssc cgl exam and want government job then go for bsc you have enough time to prepare for ssc cgl
If you go for btech then you have to prepare for jee main or CET entrance exam too much burden kindly go fluently with bsc and prepare for government examination through SSC cgl
i am having tattoo on my right wrist and right ankle and i am preparing for SSC CHSL, junior assitant and clerk type jobs . will there be any problem due to my tattoos ? is there different medical test for the person with tattoo?
Yes, it may create a problem for you like a job like BSF, Army, and many force departments strictly banned tattoos highly discipline is mandatory on the jobs like SSC, BSF, Army etc, .But sometimes we may get the opportunity that's completely depends upon one's luck .But according to govt rules and regulations tattoo is prohibited.

yes you can apply for ssc chsl once you passed the 12th standard as per eligibilty.
But there is a tough competition in the test you have to work hard for getting job through the test as the cut off is increasing every year. You can look for resources online.
