SSC CGL Eligibility Criteria 2019 -  Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will release the eligibility criteria along with the notification. SSC CGL eligibility criteria 2019 provides the details about the age limit, educational qualification, age relaxation, etc. According to SSC CGL eligibility criteria, any graduate candidates in the age group of 18 to 32 years are eligible for the exam. However, the eligibility criteria vary as per posts. Candidates who wish to appear for SSC CGL 2019 exam can check the details about eligibility criteria here. The notification of SSC CGL 2019 along with the application form will be available from October 31, 2019. Candidates can fill the application form till November 28, 2019.

Highlights of SSC CGL Eligibility Criteria 2019

 Nationality/ Citizenship

  • The candidate must be a citizen of India.

  • or a subject of Nepal,

  • or a subject of Bhutan,

  • or a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India.

  • a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India 

SSC CGL 2019 Age Limit

The upper age limit according to SSC CGL eligibility criteria 2019 will be calculated as on August 1, 2019.

  • Minimum: 18 Years

  • Maximum: 32 Years

Educational Qualification for SSC CGL 2019

The candidate must possess following educational qualification as per SSC CGL eligibility criteria 2019.

 

Assistant Audit Officer

  • Essential Qualification: The candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University.

  • Desiarable Qualification: CA/CS/MBA/Cost and Management Accountant/Masters in Commerce/Masters in Business Studies.

 

Junior Statistical Officer

  • Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized University with minimum of 60% in Mathematics in Class 12th

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with Statistics as one of the subjects in graduation

All Other Posts

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or equivalent 

Except the above educational qualification, the candidate must be physically fit as per the standards of the Inspector as there are certain necessary Physical Standards for the post of Inspector (Central Excise/ Examiner/Preventive Officer), Sub-Inspector in CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) and Sub-Inspector in NIA (National Investigation Agency).

 

Age Relaxation for SSC CGL 2019

Retrenched census employees of the Office of Registrar General of India (They will be considered only for offices under RGI in their order of merit and subject to availability of vacancies)

3 years plus length of service rendered by them in connection with census, before retrenchment, and weightage of past service.

SSC CGL Application Form 2019

Online Application for SSC CGL 2018 will be filled from October 31 to November 28, 2019. Candidates can fill the application form online in two parts. Part 1 of application form involves filling of basic details, Part II of SSC CGL application form includes payment of fee and uploading of photograph and signature. The fee can be paid online and offline.
