SSC CGL Cutoff 2019 – According to previous years’ cut off analysis of SSC CGL, the cutoff marks for Tier 1 was 126.50 for general category while for OBC category it was 110.00. SSC CGL cutoff for SC and ST was 98.00 and 88.50, respectively. In 2016, the cut off for general category was 137 while it was 125.5 for OBC category. The cut off marks for ST and SC was 103 and 114. SSC CGL cut off is the minimum qualifying marks that candidates will have to secure to qualify the exam and become eligible for the next round of selection process. Staff Selection Commission (SSC) announces SSC CGL cut off separately for Tier 1,2,3,4 and final allotment. 

Candidates qualifying the Tier 1 by securing the cut off will be selected for the Tier 2 exam. SSC CGL cut off 2019 to call candidates for Tier 3 will be decided based on candidates marks on Tier 1 and 2. Candidates who will secure qualifying marks in Tier 3 as prescribed by the examination authority will be called for Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) and Data Entry Skill Test (DEST). SSC CGL 2019 Cut off for Tier 4 will be determined based on the number of mistakes. The final allotment cut off of SSC CGL will be calculated on the basis of Tier 1, 2 and 3. Based on the final SSC CGL cut off 2019, candidates will be offered admission to the different posts and services. SSC CGL exam dates for Tier 1,2,3 and 4 will be announced soon. What is SSC CGL Cut off 2019?

The cutoff of SSC CGL is the minimum qualifying marks that candidates will have to secure to qualify the exam and become eligible for the next round of selection process. The examination authority decides the cutoff marks to select deserving candidates for the next round as well as for the recruitment exam.

What are the factors that determine SSC CGL Cutoff 2019?

The cutoff of SSC CGL will be calculated based on the following factors.

  • Number of vacancies 

  • The total number of candidates appearing for the exam. 

  • The difficulty level of exam  


Calculation of SSC CGL Cutoff 2019 

The cutoff for different stages will be calculated in the following manner. 

Tier

Calculation of cutoff 

Tier 1

The cutoff for Tier 1 will be calculated out of 200 marks 

Tier 2

SSC CGL cutoff for this stage will be determined based on the marks of Tier 1 and 2 

Tier 3

SSC will fix qualifying marks for Tier 3 out of 100

Tier 4

SSC CGL cutoff for Tier 4 is calculated based on the number of mistakes in the exam

Final 

Calculation of cutoff marks is done based on Tier 1, 2 and 3

SSC CGL Cut off 2019 of Tier 1

Tier 1 comprises four sections - General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension. Total marks allotted for this test is 200. The commission will fix separate cutoffs for Paper III (Junior Statistical Officers post), Paper IV (Assistant Audit Officer and Assistant Accounts Officer) and Paper I & II (all other posts). SSC might also fix qualifying marks for each section of Tier 1 exam. Based on SSC CGL cutoff of Tier 1, candidates will be shortlisted category-wise for Tier II. The cutoff will be calculated out of 200 marks. The previous years’ cutoff of Tier 1 is given below.

SSC CGL Cutoff 2019 for Tier 2 

Tier 2 of SSC CGL comprises of four papers. Paper 1 and Paper 2 are compulsory for all the posts. Paper 3 is only for those candidates who have applied for the post of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO). Paper 4 is for the posts of Assistant Audit Officer/Assistant Accounts Officer. SSC CGL cutoff for Tier 2 is determined based on Tier 1 and 2. While calculating the cutoff marks for the posts of Assistant Audit Officer and Assistant Accounts Officer, the examination authority will consider the marks of Paper 1, 2 and 4 of Tier 2. Similarly, for the Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) post, the marks of Paper 1, 2 and 3 will be taken into consideration. For all other posts, the marks of Paper 1 and 2 of Tier 2 will only be considered.

SSC CGL Cut off 2019 of Tier 3

The Tier III of SSC CGL 2018 is a descriptive test. Total marks allotted for this test is 100. SSC will decide qualifying cutoff for Tier 3. Candidates have to secure the qualifying cutoff to qualify the exam. Selection of candidates for Skill Test and Document Verification will be done amongst those securing the qualifying cutoff.

SSC CGL Cut off 2019 of Tier 4

The cutoff of Tier 4 will be declared along with the final SSC CGL result. SSC CGL cutoff 2019 of Tier 4 will be calculated based on the percentage of mistakes in CPT and DEST. The previous years’ SSC CGL cutoff of Tier 4 is given below.
