SSC CGL Cut off 2019 - Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will announce the cut off of Combined Graduate Level (CGL). SSC CGL cut off 2019 is the minimum qualifying marks released by the commission to be eligible to appear for next round of selection process. The cut off of SSC CGL will be released tier-wise in online mode after exam. Candidates who will qualify Tier 1 cut off will be selected for the Tier 2 exam. SSC CGL cut off 2019 will be determined on the basis of marks scored by candidates in tier 1 and 2 exam. SSC cut off for tier 3 will be calculated out of 100 marks. 

Tier 4 is skill test/computer proficiency test is qualifying in nature. The marks obtained by the candidates will not be added in the preparation of final merit but candidates will have to qualify this tier for the recruitment to the preferred specific post. The exam conducting authority, SSC then releases the final merit list. To determine the SSC CGL cut off 2019 for final selection, the marks secured by candidates in teir 1, 2 and 3 will be added. Factors determining SSC CGL Cut off 2019

The cut off of SSC CGL will be calculated based on the following factors.

  • Number of vacancies 

  • The total number of candidates appearing for the exam. 

  • The difficulty level of exam  


SSC CGL Cut off 2019 of Tier 1

Tier 1 of SSC CGL comprises four sections - General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension. The exam will be held for 200 markS. SSC CGL cut off 2019 of Tier 1 will fixed separate cut offs for Paper III (Junior Statistical Officers post), Paper IV (Assistant Audit Officer and Assistant Accounts Officer) and Paper I & II (all other posts). Based on SSC CGL cut off of Tier 1, candidates will be shortlisted category-wise for Tier II.

According to previous years’ cut off analysis of SSC CGL, the cut off marks for Tier 1 was 126.50 for general category while for OBC it was 110.00. SSC CGL cut off for SC and ST was 98.00 and 88.50, respectively. Candidates can check previous year cut off for tier 1 below.

SSC CGL Cut off 2019 for Tier 2 

Tier 2 of SSC CGL comprises of four papers. Paper 1 and Paper 2 are compulsory for all the posts. Paper 3 is only for those candidates who have applied for the post of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO). Paper 4 is for the posts of Assistant Audit Officer/Assistant Accounts Officer. SSC CGL cut off for Tier 2 is determined based on Tier 1 and 2. While calculating the cut off marks for the posts of Assistant Audit Officer and Assistant Accounts Officer, the examination authority will consider the marks of Paper 1, 2 and 4 of Tier 2. Similarly, for the Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) post, the marks of Paper 1, 2 and 3 will be taken into consideration. For all other posts, the marks of Paper 1 and 2 of Tier 2 will only be considered.

SSC CGL Cut off 2019 of Tier 3

The Tier III of SSC CGL 2018 is a descriptive test. Total marks allotted for this test is 100. SSC will decide qualifying cut off for Tier 3. Candidates have to secure the qualifying cut off to qualify the exam. Selection of candidates for Skill Test and Document Verification will be done amongst those securing the qualifying cut off.

SSC CGL Cut off 2019 of Tier 4

The cut off of Tier 4 will be declared along with the final SSC CGL result. SSC CGL cut off 2019 of Tier 4 will be calculated based on the percentage of mistakes in CPT and DEST. The previous years’ SSC CGL cut off of Tier 4 is given below.
