There are three stages of the SSC CGL - Tier-I, Tier-II, and Tier-III. Candidates have to clear each stage in order to appear for the subsequent stage of the selection procedure. SSC CGL 2020 Tier-I exam was conducted from March 3 to 9. SSC CGL Tier-II and III will be conducted from June 22 to 25, 2020.

The exam authorities has released the answer key of SSC CGL for the computer based tests. For both exams, SSC CGL answer key 2020 is released twice - provisional and revised/ final. SSC CGL Tier-III is a descriptive test hence on answer key ios published for this stage of the exam. The stages in which the answer key will be released are listed below -

Candidates must know the marking scheme of the examination in order to calculate their marks using the answer key of SSC CGL 2020. In SSC CGL Tier-I, there are 100 questions each carrying 2 marks. There is also a negative marking of 0.5 marks applicable for each incorrect response that the candidates make. In Tier-II there are four papers. Paper 1 and 2 (Quantitative Ability and English Language) are compulsory for all posts of the exam. Paper 3 and 4 (Statistics and Finance & Economics) are for candidates who take the exam for the posts of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) and Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer. The exam authorities prepare the result of the exam using the final answer key of each stage of the exam. Candidates who are shortlisted in the result of one stage of the exam are eligible to appear for the subsequent stage. In order to check the result of SSC CGL, candidates will have to log in using their registration number and password.
