SET Result 2019 - State Level Eligibility Test (SLET) Commission, Assam has released the scorecard of SET 2019 exam on July 11. The scorecard has been announced by the authority after the announcement of SET result 2019. The scorecard has been released on the official page of the exam conducting authority. SLET Scorecard contains roll number, gender, category, marks scored in paper I and II, total marks secured and the aggregate percentage of the candidates. The authority had earlier released the SET 2019 result on June 26. The result of SET/SLET was available on the authority website. Candidates could check the roll numbers of all the qualified candidates in the result of SET 2019. s per the notification released by UGC, it has been decided that only 6% of the appearing candidates should be declared SET/SLET qualified for Eligibility for Assistant.The exam conducting authority had released SET-SLET 2019 result subject-wise for the qualified candidates. Only those candidates who qualified SET result 2019 will be issued certificate after 45 working days from the declaration of the result. Note: Earlier, SET was known as NESLET Exam. However, later on, the exam conducting authority decided to rename it as SET. SET is conducted for recruitment of candidates as Assistant Professors across the institutes/colleges/universities of the northeastern states – Assam, Meghalaya, Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur and Sikkim.
The steps to check SET result is given below.
Step 1: Visit the official website - sletne.org and click on SET result 2019 link (link is available above in the article)
Step 2: SET result pdf will open in a new tab
Step 3: PDF SET result will carry roll numbers of all the qualified candidates
Step 4: Press Cntrl + F and find your roll number from the PDF
Step 5: Check your roll number in the PDF file of the result
Step 6: Download and save NESLET/SET result 2019 for future reference
In case, candidates find any discrepancy with regard to the declaration of SET result 2019, candidates need to send a written request to the Member Secretary, SLET Commission, Assam (N. E. Region), Guwahati University, Guwahati, 781 014 with the documentary proof (to support the claim). Along with the written request, candidates have to send a Demand Draft for Rs. 5000 in favour of the Member Secretary payable at SBI G.U. Branch at Jalukbari within 15 days from the date of result announcement. The request of the candidates will be scrutinized by an Expert Committee (s) for the re-evaluation of OMR. In case the evaluation is/are found incorrect, then the amount of Rs. 5000 paid by the candidates will be refunded.
Candidates appearing for SET will have to secure the minimum qualifying marks released by the exam conducting authority. General category candidates will have to score at least 40% aggregate marks in the exam, while the reserved category candidates have to obtain minimum 35% marks in the test to get pass certificate.
SC, ST, OBC, PWD
The cut off for SET has been released by the SLET commission on June 27. Candidates will have to obtain minimum qualifying marks as well as overall cut off to pass SET. The cut off for SET 2019 is available for the categories and subjects. Candidates who will secure equal or above to the SET cut off 2019 will be issued passing certification. Yes, you are eligible to apply for both NTA UGC-NET exam conducted by NTA and SET exam conducted by different states. Any one who has completed his/her Masters with minimum of 55% for general category and 50% for SC/ST category are eligible to apply for NET/SET exam. As an MBA student you will be able to give NET/SET exam in Management subject.
