SBI PO Notification 2020 - State Bank of India (SBI) is to release SBI PO 2020 notification for all aspirants in the form of PDF on April 1 tentatively at sbi.co.in. The notification of SBI PO 2020 will be released for the recruitment of candidates in its Probationary Officer cadre. Through SBI PO notification 2020, the authorities are expected to announce as many as 2000 vacancies. SBI PO 2020 notification will contain all details related to dates, vacancies, eligibility criteria, scheme of the examination, pay scale etc. Along with SBI PO notification 2020, the authorities will also release the application form in online mode. It is advised to the candidates to go through the notification carefully before applying for SBI PO exam. Candidates who will be qualifying through the recruitment process will be given pay of Rs 27,620 in the scale of 23700-980/7-30560-1145/2-32850-1310/7-42020. SBI PO 2020 prelims exam is expected to be held from June 7 at various cities spread across 34 States/Union Territories. What is SBI PO Exam?

State Bank of India Probationary Officers exam commonly known as SBI PO exam is conducted by the State Bank of India (SBI) for the recruitment of Probationary Officers (POs) in its various branches across the country. The recruitment exam is conducted in three stages including prelims, mains, and interviews. As per SBI PO exam pattern, the prelims exam contains a total of 100 questions of 1 mark each from three sections - Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Language. The mains exam of SBI PO contains a total of 155 questions of 200 marks from four sections - Data analysis and interpretation, Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, English Language, General/Economy/Banking Awareness. Candidate qualifying in the mains exam will have to appear for the interview. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks secured by the candidates in mains and interview.

SBI PO Eligibility Criteria 2020

Authorities have determined the eligibility criteria of SBI PO for candidates willing to take the exam. The eligibility criteria to appear in the exam will be mentioned in the SBI PO notification 2020. As per the notification, SBI PO eligibility criteria 2020 will be determined by the examination authority on the basis of:

  • Nationality

  • Age

  • Education Qualification

SBI PO Application Form 2020

It is expected that SBI PO 2020 notification and application form will be available in online mode on April 1, 2020. The last date to fill the application form will be April 22, 2020 tentatively. The filling of the application form will include the following stages:

  • Online registration

  • Filling up of basic details

  • Uploading scanned photograph and signature

  • Payment of application fees.

According to the SBI PO notification, candidates must have the following particulars ready with them before filling the application form:

  • Credit Card/Debit Card details, Internet Banking details for payment of fee

  • Scanned signature and photograph of prescribed specification

  • Valid photo identity card (Pan Card, Passport, Aadhaar Card, Driving License or College ID)

  • Valid email ID and active mobile number

  • Marksheets of class 10th, 12th, Graduation and other degree certificates, if any.

  • The passport size photograph must be coloured and taken against white background

  • The dimension of the photograph must be 200 x 230 pixels

  • The size of the scanned photograph must be between 20kb-50 kb

  • In case, candidates are using camera flash, they must make sure that there is no red-eye

  • Candidates are advised not to wear any sunglasses, a hat or cap in the photograph

Signature

  • The dimension of the signature should be 140 x 60 pixels

  • Candidates must sign with a black pen on a white paper

  • The size of the scanned signature must be between 10kb–20kb

As per the exam pattern of SBI PO 2020, the test will be conducted in three phases - prelims, mains, and Interview. Candidates who pass in prelims exam must appear for the mains while the mains qualified candidates are further called for the interview round. SBI PO Notification 2020 - Pay Scale

The salary is calculated on the basis of various components like basic salary, dearness allowance, City Compensatory Allowance (CCA) and Special Allowance. The salary structure of SBI PO includes a basic pay of Rs 27,620 in the scale of 23700-980/7-30560-1145/2-32850-1310/7-42020 applicable to Junior Management Grade Scale-I. In other words, the recruited POs at SBI will be eligible for a basic salary of Rs. 27,620, a DA of Rs. Rs. 12677, a CCA of Rs. 870 and a special allowance of Rs. 2140.

Question: What is the age bar for appearing in SBI PO 2020 exam?

Answer:

To appear in SBI PO exam, you must fulfill the SBI PO age limit which is 20 to 30 years of age for general category candidates at the time of registration. However, the relaxation given to the reserved category candidates are 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category candidates.

Question: I am in my final year of my graduation . Can I apply for SBI PO 2020?

Answer:

Yes, you can definitely apply for SBI PO 2020 exam. As per the eligibility criteria of SBI PO, candidates who are in the final year/semester of their graduation can apply online provided they have a proof of passing the exam by July 1, 2020.

Question: How many times can I appear for the SBI PO exam?

Answer:

SBI has set a limit of attempts as per the category of the candidates according to which general category candidates can appear for SBI PO exam upto 4 times while OBC category candidates can take the test 7 times. However, SC/ ST category students will not have any restrictions.

There is a eligibility criteria to give the SBI po exams.

age also matters in such type of exams the lower age limit is 21 and the upper age limit is 30.

To be precise to write the exam a candidate should have not be born not later than april 1 1999 and not earlier than 1990.

As per the notice, the minimum and maximum age of the applicants should be 21 and30 years respectively as on 1stApril 2020. And you have completed your 21st on 4th January 2020, so you are eligible to write SBI PO 2020. The preliminary exam will held on first week of July 2020 and the Mains will held on First week of August 2020.
