SBI Clerk Notification 2020 - State Bank of India (SBI) will release SBI 2020 notification for Junior Associates (Sales & Support Customer) in its Clerical Cadre in April 2020. Candidates who wish to apply for SBI Clerk exam will be able to apply within the prescribed dates. SBI Clerk Admit Card 2020

The exam conducting authority, SBI will release the admit card for prelims and mains exam. Candidates will be able to download the admit card from the official website of SBI by entering registration number/roll number and password/date of birth. The admit card for SBI Clerk prelims exam will only be issued to those candidates whose application form will be accepted by SBI. However, SBI Clerk mains admit card 2020 will be released for those candidates who will qualify the exam. Along with the admit card, candidates will have to carry any one of the identity proof (Passport, Driving Licence, Aadhaar Card, PAN Card) to the exam centre.

SBI Clerk 2020 Exam Pattern

The exam gives the idea about the nature of questions, marking scheme, mode of exam, time duration, etc so it is important to check the exam pattern. The exam pattern will be prescribed in SBI Clerk notification 2020 for Prelims and Mains. According to the exam pattern, the preliminary exam will have 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) from English, Reasoning and Numerical Ability. Candidates will be given 1 hour to answer this paper. However, the mains exam carries 190 questions which will be held for 2 hours and 40 minutes.

Hi dear,

Right now only overall cutoff of SBI mains 2019 are not released on the official sites.

But if we analyse the previous years cutoff marks of SB mains for ex servicemen then it is 86.25 out of 200 marks.

While, this year the overall sbi mains 2019 cutoff for UP candidates if is expected to be around 80-90.

For more details and exact cutoff we still have to wait for the release of results.

See marks varies each year, the cutoffs depend on various factors like number of candidates appearing, paper level, etc. So one thing that you can rely on is the ranks. I'll give you a brief idea about the ranks for colleges in Odisha for sc category. One of the best colleges Central Institute of Plastic Engineering and Technology, Bhubaneswar had cutoff rank 373175 for sc category.

College of Engineering and Technology Bhubaneshwar had cutoff rank  349747 for Electronics Engineering, 277610 for Electrical Engineering, 207393 for Chemical Engineering, 458685 for Information Technology.

So prepare well for the exams and give your best and once the exams are over, then think about where you stand and the options you have.

i applied sbi clerk as ews category but now i realized that i am not under ews i qualify prelims in general cut off if i qualify mains in gen will they consider me as general without ews certificate and will i get the job as general

To give you a gist, the merit list after each round is prepared on the Category you have selected while filling in the application form. There is a statement that says that SBI cannot assume any responsibility of the mistakes in the application form and submission of the application forms after the last date. Now if you select your Category as General during Mains and you qualify under General Category, you will be given a placement under the General Category.

Exam for SBI Clerk is divided into three stages-

Prelims of 1 hour duration with following subjects-

  1. English
  2. Quant
  3. Reasoning

Mains is of 2 hour and 40 min duration with following subject-

  1. General/Financial Awareness
  2. General English
  3. Quantitative Aptitude
  4. Reasoning Ability and Computer Aptitude

Last one is assessment  of Official/Local Language.

The first and foremost thing required in banking exam is speed and precision.

To follow the first step, you need to practice a lot, solve as many mock papers as you can, along with test series. At the same time time, do not forget to evaluate your performance. This will give you a fair idea about strength and weakness.

The more papers you solve, more grasp you'll have on that subject, this will increase your ability to solve any type of questions that come in exams.

For General Awareness/ Financial Awareness, you have to read a newspaper daily with emphasis on The Editorial part, you can read The Hindu, The Economic Times, The Indian Express. You'll have to well updated with current affairs more so business/finance section regarding this.Newspaper will also help in your English.Do not skip this step at all, as in exams in the recent trends, Editorial parts are coming in either for RC, or some other section.
