SBI Clerk 2014 - State Bank of India has announced the dates of the application for SBI Clerk 2014 to fill as many as 5092 vacancies of assistants in their clerical cadre. Out of the total vacancies, 2690 vacancies are for General candidates, while 760 for SC, 463 for ST and 1179 vacancies are for OBC categories. Top three states allotted with highest vacancies are Gujarat, followed by Karnataka, and then Madhya Pradesh. Online exam was held in a 42-day window beginning from July 19, 2014.Latest: SBI Clerk Result 2016 will be available soon.

SBI Clerk Selection Process 2014 – Under SBI Clerk Selection Process 2014, the candidates are required to appear in SBI Clerk 2014 written test and personal interview thereon. The candidates, who qualify the written test and personal interview round will be offered the assistant clerk designation at SBI.
SBI Clerk Paper Pattern 2014 - The objective type paper will be conducted tentatively in July/August in computer based test format. As per the SBI Clerk Paper Pattern 2014, the paper with duration of 2 hours 15 minutes will be divided in five sections – General Awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability and Marketing Aptitude / Computer Knowledge. The paper will be of total 200 marks, with each section carrying 40 marks.

Yes, you can appear for SBI PO exam as well if you get selected as clerk. What you have to do first is to take permission from the bank and resign from the post of clerk. Also, you can appear for higher post in any bank other than SBI, the only thing required id to get permission from the bank. Do not forget to inform the bank in advance before applying for the vacancy.
