Candidates will have to pay the requisite application fee while filling the RRB NTPC 2020 application form. The application fee can be paid in both online and offline mode. Category-wise fees is provided in the table below.

Step 1: Online Registration
Click on ‘New Registration’ tab
Select RRB region
Read the instructions and tick mark checkbox
Fill basic details like name, father’s name, date of birth, mobile number and email ID
Verify the details and click on ‘Submit’
An OTP will be sent to the provided mobile number and email ID after submitting
Enter OTP on ‘Activation Link’
Registration number and password will be generated and sent to the registered phone number and email ID
Note: Candidates will not be able to change the selected region after registration number and password are generated.
Step 2: Fill the details in RRB NTPC application form Part 1
Click on ‘Candidate Login’ after registration
Enter registration number and password
Enter details mentioned in this part like educational qualification, gender, community, religion, etc.
Step 3: Application Fee Payment
Pay the requisite fee after filling Part 1 of the application form. RRB NTPC application fee can be paid using the net banking, credit/ debit card, UPI or offline challans.
Step 4: Filling Part 2 of RRB NTPC application form 2020
Set preferences/ priority for posts and Railway/ Production unit
Name, father‘s name, educational qualification, and other relevant details of scribe for PwD candidates
Detailed educational qualification
Choice of language
Additional details like mother tongue, identification marks, address, etc.

Step 5: Uploading Scanned Images
Upload images of photograph, signature and caste certificate (if required) in the prescribed size. The specified size for each document is given in the table below.

Note: Candidates belonging to SC/ST category who want to avail Free Travel Authority (Second Class Railway Pass) have to upload additional scanned copy of caste certificate.
Step 6: Submission of Application
Click to tick mark the declaration box and submit the application form.
It is suggested that you save and print a copy of the application form for future references.
Candidates will be able to make minor changes in the application form of RRB NTPC 2020 after submission of the same. Candidates will have to pay modification fee of Rs. 100. However, candidates will not be able to change their RRB region, email ID and phone number. Candidates can modify their community by making payment in the difference of the exam fee (Rs. 250). Changes can be made in RRB NTPC 2020 application form only twice, no further changes will be acknowledged by the exam body.

Candidates who appear for the first stage of the examination can have their examination fee refunded. Candidates who have not selected the option of fee refund in the account from which they have made the payment have to provide details including beneficiary name, account number, name of bank and IFSC code.
RRB provides the facility to check the application status to candidates who have filled out the application form of RRB NTPC. Candidates can check their application status by logging in using their registration number and date of birth.
No, candidates are required to have their degree and/or 10+2 result before applying for RRB NTPC.
Candidates cannot change their exam centres after submitting the application form. However, other details can be edited by choosing ‘Modify Application’ option on the official website. Candidates have to pay a fee of Rs. 100 to make changes in an already submitted application form.
