RRB Group D Result 2018 – Railway Recruitment Cells (RRCs) have announced the result of RRB Group D CBT for PET on March 29, 2019. Candidates who have appeared for PET exam region wise on can check their result on the regional website of RRC. To check RRB Group D Result 2019 for PET result candidates will have to either enter registration id or roll number and date of birth. Candidates who have qualified the PET will be eligibile to appear for document verification (DV). RRB Group D result for the computer-based test was released on March 4, 2019. RRB Group D CBT was conducted from September 17 to December 17, 2018. RRB Group D Scorecard 2018

The scorecard of RRB Group D exam will be released along with the result. To download, candidates need to enter the required credentials. In the scorecard, candidates will be able to check their overall score obtained in the exam.

Stages of RRB Group D Result 2018

Stage 1 RRB Group D Result (CBT): The marks of first stage is normalised to announce the result of RRB Group D 2018. The raw score of candidates out of 100 are normalised to ensure equivalence of the multiple sessions. Candidates who secure the qualifying marks in the exam are selected for PET. As per official notification, approximately 1,25,814 candidates (two times the number of vacancies) are selected for the next round.

Formula to be used to know the RRB Group D 2018 result scores

Total score out of 100 = Number of correct answers x 1 – Number of incorrect answers x 1/3

Stage 2 (PET): This stage is qualifying in nature, however, it is mandatory to pass the exam. The marks secured in this exam is not considered for preparing the final merit list. Candidates qualifying the PET are called for document verification and medical examination.

Stage 3 (Final): The final RRB Group D result 2018 will be declared based on the candidates performance in CBT, PET, Document Verification and Medical Examination. Each of the RRBs will release the rank list as per the available post/trade. Allotment of posts will be done on the basis of candidates rank in the merit list.

Q: Why normalisation process is important in RRB Group D exam?

Ans: The CBT was held in different slots and days. To ensure that difficulty levels are on par, a normalisation process is adopted and enforced. This will ensure the fairness and equity in comparison of performances of candidates across different test sessions.

Q: What is the Tie-Breaking Policy in RRB Group D?

In case two or more candidates secure the same marks in RRB Group D exam then their merit will be determined on the basis of age. Candidates who are older in age will be given preferences.

RRB Group D Result Analysis

According to officials, around 1.89 crore candidates are taking the RRB Group D exam for recruitment against 62907 vacancies of Level- 1 posts. The online examination is being held in over 400 centres across India. Each day 3 to 4 lakh candidates appear at the examination and the attendance is over 60%. The online examination started on September 17 and it will be completed on December 17, 2018. The exam is being conducted and the RRB Group D result used to fill the available Level- 1 posts in 16 Railway Recruitment Boards only.

RRB Group D Selection Process

Appointment of selected candidates will be done after they clear the medical fitness test and final verification of certificates. Once the process is over, RRBs will allot post and railway to candidates as per the option given by candidates. The letter of appointment will be issued to candidates by the concerned authorities of Zonal Railway.

RRB Group D Cut off 2018

The CBT cutoff of RRB Group D will be released along with the result. RRB Group D cutoff will vary as per category, regions and post/trades. Candidates securing equal to or more than the cutoff marks will be selected for PET. The previous years’ RRB Group D cut off is given below.

Hi Bibhas,

NIT MCA Common Entrance Test (NIMCET), is the national level entrance exam conducted every year by one of the National Institutes of Technology (NITs) for taking admissions on merit basis to Master of Computer Applications (MCA) programme.

This exam works across the NITs located in Agartala, Allahabad, Kurukshetra, Calicut, Raipur, Warangal, Surathkal, Durgapur, Trichy, Jamshedpur, Bhopal and Kurukshetra.

The application form of NIMCET 2020 will be released soon through which the candidates can fill the form and appear in the entrance exam. NIMCET admit card will also be released to be downloaded by candidates. The exam will be conducted in offline mode and the result of the same will be declared on the official website of NIMCET 2020.

Total 809 seats are available and duration of exam is 2 hours.
