RRB Group D 2018 – Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have released the dates for RRB Group D Document Verification for some regions. RRBs released the result of CBT on March 4, 2019. The result is available in pdf format with roll number of qualified candidates. Candidates can check their result from the respective regional websites they have applied for. Candidates who have qualified RRB Group D 2018 result have been selected to appear for Physical Efficiency Test (PET). On the basis of the result, Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), Bhubaneswar has issued the admit card for PET from March 11 onwards. Other regions will release the admit card for PET shortly. The dates and venue of RRB Group D PET 2018 have been mentioned below. Candidates will be called for document verification based on marks secured in CBT subject to qualifying PET stage. RRB has conducted RRB Group D 2018 online test from September 17 to December 17.
The answer key of RRB Group D 2018 was reactivated on January 12. The answer key has been released in pdf format with the correct answer. The Boards had earlier released the answer key of CBT on January 11, 2019, but deactivated the link after it crashed due to heavy traffic. RRB Group D exam is conducted for recruitment of Assistant Pointsman, Gatemen, Helpers, Hospital Attendants, Porters, Track Maintainer in various departments of Indian Railways.

The various regions of RRC will issue the admit card for Document Verification shortly. RRC Bhubaneswar had released the admit card for PET on March 11, 2019. The admit card is being issued zone-wise. The admit card of other regions will be released shortly. Candidates can check the dates of their respective PET and then accordingly start downloading the call letter 10 days before the commencement of respective PET. Earlier, the RRBs had released the admit card of RRB Group D online exam from September 13, 2018. Candidates can download the admit card for CBT four days prior to their scheduled exam. Candidates can download the admit card online by logging to their respective accounts using registration number and date of birth. RRB Group D admit card includes details like candidate’s name, photograph, signature, venue, date and time of exam. For any error in the admit card, candidates must contact the respective RRBs for correction. It is important to carry the admit card to the exam centre along with one photo-identity proof or else candidates are not allowed to take the test.
RRBs have announced RRB Group D result for CBT on March 4, 2019. Candidates have to check their result online. The result PDF contains the roll numbers of qualified candidates. Candidates qualifying the exam by securing the required cutoff as per their category are called for PET. It is mandatory for candidates to clear PET. However, PET is qualifying in nature. Candidates will be shortlisted for Document Verification based on their performance in CBT provided they qualify PET. The examination authority will use tie-breaking policy in case two or more candidate secure same marks and based on this the merit list for document verification will be prepared. Merit position of these candidates will be determined on the basis of age that is a person senior in age will be placed higher in the merit list than the younger candidates. Appointment of candidates to the various posts will be done subject to them clearing the medical fitness test and verification of educational and community certificates.
The answer key of RRB Group D has been released by RRBs on January 12. RRB Group D answer key 2018 is available online. RRB Group D answer key is available in pdf format with all the correct answers. The answer key helps candidates to check the correct answers of questions asked in the exam. Using RRB Group D answer key 2018, candidates are able to check calculate their probable score based on correct and incorrect answers.

Railway Recruitment Boards have examined the modified photographs and emailed the revised status of photos to candidates' registered email ID. RRBs also provided link for candidates with invalid photographs to upload proper photos as per image requirements. Candidates could upload their valid photographs till July 30, 2018 (11:59 pm). Candidates who have applied for RRB Group D 2018 were able to check their application status between July 11 and 20. The application form of RRB Group D was released online on February 10, 2018. Registrations of RRB Group D 2018 were open till March 31. Candidates belonging to general category had to pay application fee of Rs. 500 while the fee for SC/ST/OBC was Rs. 250. RRB Group D exam pattern provide candidates details regarding the number of questions, marking scheme and duration of exam. According to RRB Group D exam pattern 2018, the CBT will carry 100 multiple choice questions which candidates have to answer within 90 minutes while 120 minutes extra will be given to PWD candidates. The maximum marks allotted for the test is 100. 1/3 of marks allotted for each question will be deducted for incorrect responses. PET is conducted for the shortlisted candidates of CBT to determine their physical fitness required for the posts. The examination authority will call candidates for Document Verification based on their performance in CBT and PET. The exam pattern of RRB Group D 2018 of CBT and PET are given below.

Railway Recruitment Boards had released the mock test of RRB Group D online test on September 12. To start RRB Group D mock test, candidates had to log in with their user ID and password. The mock test help candidates understand the process of the online test as well as the exam pattern. Candidates must attempt mock test to increase their speed and manage time efficiently on the day of exam.
RRB Group D cutoff is the minimum qualifying marks that candidates have to secure to qualify the exam and become eligible for next round of selection process. RRB Group D cutoff 2018 will be announced separately for Computer Based Test (CBT) and final allotment. The cutoff of RRB Group D for CBT will be announced in November. The examination authority releases two types of RRB Group D cutoff for CBT qualifying and overall. The category-wise qualifying cutoff has already been announced along with the notification. The overall cutoff of RRB Group D will be declared along with the result. Candidates need to secure the qualifying cutoff to clear the exam. However, selection of candidates for the next round of recruitment exam will be done based on the overall cutoff. The overall cutoff is determined based on factors like number of vacancies, total number of candidates appearing for the exam, total score and difficulty level of exam. To be selected for PET, candidates have to secure both overall and qualifying cutoff. The final allotment cutoff of RRB Group will be determined based on candidate’s performance in CBT, PET and document verification.

The selection process is composed of three stages – Computer Based Test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Document Verification. Candidates will be shortlisted to participate in each stage of RRB Group D recruitment 2018 on the basis of merit.
Computer Based Test (CBT): Marks secured in the CBT will be the basis on which candidates will be shortlisted for PET.
Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Applicants are selected to appear for PET on the basis of marks scored in CBT. Candidates equaling three times the number of vacancies available in each category are selected on merit basis for RRB Group D 2018 Physical Efficiency Test.
Document Verification: For this stage of the selection procedure, applicants are called on the basis of score secured in CBT stage of RRB Group D recruitment, provided the candidates have successfully cleared the physical efficiency test.
Dear applicant, for RRB Group D exam the age limit is 18 years to 33 years whereas 5 years relaxation is given to candidates belonging from the reserved category. and 2 years for OBC category.

NIT MCA Common Entrance Test (NIMCET), is the national level entrance exam conducted every year by one of the National Institutes of Technology (NITs) for taking admissions on merit basis to Master of Computer Applications (MCA) programme.
