NDA Result 2019 – Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released name and marks of all the qualified candidates of NDA 2019 result in the PDF form on November 12, 2019. NDA-II exam will be conducted on November 17, 2019 in offline mode across various centres in India. NDA 2019 exam is conducted twice a year for the admission of candidates between the age of 16.5 to 19.5 years in National Defence Academy and Naval Academy.

The marking scheme of NDA is explained below:
Candidates will get 4 marks for each correct answer in General Ability Test (GAT)
For each correct answer in Mathematics, candidates will get 2.5 marks.
Negative marking is applicable for wrong answers. Each incorrect answer will fetch -0.33 marks or 0.33 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer.

The stages of NDA 2019 result are explained below:
The total marks of the written exam are calculated out of 900 marks. UPSC prepares a list of candidates who obtain qualifying marks in the written examination. Selected candidates have to appear for SSB Interview for Intelligence and Personality Test.
After the NDA 2019 result for written test, SSB Interview is held, which is a two-stage process. In this stage, candidates are assessed psychologically and as per their Intelligence. Candidates qualifying the first stage are called for the remaining tests in stage two. Candidates qualifying stage two have to submit their original certificates along with one photo-identity proof.
After completion of SSB Interview, selected candidates are sent for medical screening where their physical fitness required for the job is assessed by the medical officer.
Candidates will be placed in a single combined list on the basis of total marks secured by them in the written examination and SSB tests. Final allocation of candidates is done based on candidates eligibility, medical fitness, rank in the merit list and preferences given by them.
To qualify in NDA, candidates need to secure at least 25% marks in each subject. General Ability Test consists of 600 marks wherein candidates need to score at least 150 marks to clear the exam. Mathematics paper carries 300 marks, while candidates need to secure 75 marks to qualify.
Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released NDA 2019 cut off along with the release of marks of qualified candidates. NDA cut off is released for both written examination and final selection. NDA 2019 cut off is the minimum marks candidates are required to secure to be considered qualified in any of the exam stages. NDA cut off marks are also the marks obtained by the last qualified candidate as per the list of marks.

Candidates can check NDA answer keys provided by several coaching institutes right after the written examination since UPSC releases the answer key after all stages of the examination have been concluded. NDA answer key 2019 is published separately for mathematics and GAT. The official answer key of NDA examination includes question IDs for all sets and their correct answer options. Candidates can calculate their score by counting the number of correct and incorrect responses by checking them against the correct answers provided in NDA answer key. Candidates must also take into consideration the marking scheme for both maths and GAT.

There are no such fixed pass marks prescribed by UPSC. But as per the previous year cutoff trend, it may be expected that candidates must score at least 25% of the maximum marks in NDA exam mathematics paper to clear the exam.

No, there is no such reservation in NDA. There
never was any caste based reservation in NDA or any defense service exams. Now that the government has added 10% reservation for EWS category students ; that will not be applicable in case of NDA exam. Officially by UPSC it was cited as "10% reservation, no impact on armed forces".
Now speaking of reservation, only students whose parents are/were in the field of defense. Only for them there's is a specific reservation in NDA.
