NDA II 2014 – Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts the common entrance exam on September 28 for 10+2 pass and appearing candidates who seek to join the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of National Defence Academy (NDA). The exam is held twice a year. NDA II 2014 will be conducted to fill around 320 NDA vacancies including 208 for Army, 42 for Navy and 70 for Air Force. A total of 55 Naval Academy vacancies will also be filled up by NDA/NA (II) 2014 exam.

NDA II 2014 Application Form – NDA 2014 Application Form is available online since June 21, 2014. Application process will continue till July 21. The candidates are required to pay Rs 100 to fill NDA II 2014 application form.  The fees can be paid either via Bank Challan or online using net banking facility of State Bank of India or via SBI debit/credit cards.

 

NDA II 2014 Eligibility Criteria – The candidates applying for admission in the Defence job courses should be the citizen of India, and are appearing or have qualified 10+2 exam. The candidates must be unmarried and male, and should have born between January 2, 1996 and January 1, 1999.

 

NDA II 2014 Important Dates UPSC has already announced the important dates for the application process of NDA exam. Application process will continue from June 21 to July 21, 2014. Written exam will be held on September 28, 2014.

 

NDA II 2014 Exam Pattern – The entrance exam, with duration of 5 hours, will have questions from Mathematics and General Ability, carrying a total of 900 marks. All the questions will be based on 10+2 standard. For every wrong answer marked in the answer-sheet, one third of the mark will be deducted.

 

NDA II 2014 Selection Process – The candidates, who qualify the written exam, will be called for SSB round, which will be held in two stages. Stage I comprises of Officer Intelligence Rating (OIR) tests and Picture Perception & Description Test (PP&DT). Stage II consists of Interview, Group Testing Officer Tasks, Psychology Tests and the Conference.

 

NDA II 2014 Admit Card – The Admit Card for the written exam will be available tentatively in first week of August. The admit card will be available online for downloading and will not be sent to any candidate by any other way.

 

NDA II 2014 Result – UPSC is likely to declare the result for the written exam tentatively in third week of November. After the declaration of the result, the shortlisted candidates will be called for SSB Interview round.

sorry to say you, but you can't apply for NDA 2020. You can apply for NDA 2021 in next year. As per the age criteria in NDA applying candidates age must be between 16.5 to 19.5 years. To know more about NDA criterias click on the link below

how negative marking apply behind each questions of NDA

NDA exam paper 2020 contains type of question, exam mode, duration etc. Union Public Service Commission ,UPSC is the main conducting authority  organized a national level NDA exam  to join any of wings which include Indian Army, Navy or Air Force.

Along with written test, the selection will be followed by intelligence and physical tests.

Details if exam paper pattern NDA

• Exam mode - offline

•Answer mode - Black ball point must be used

•Exam duration - 2. Hrs 30 min

•Type of question - Objective type

•Paper - written test will be of 900 marks, in which maths paper will be of 300 marks , general ability test holds600 marks.

• NEGATIVE MARKS -  For every incorrect response , there will be negative marking in the examination . Out of total 1/3 marks will be deducted. . for  Mathematics  120 questions are there  and each question consist of 2.5 marks so negative marks per question is 0.833 marks and in general studies there are 150 questions and each question consist of 4 marks so negative marks for each question will be 1.33

. But there is no negative marks for leaving the question

• Language  The question paper of maths and general ability test part B will be available in both English and Hindi language.

Hello student,

NDA stands for National Defence Academy.the test consists of two part -one IS examination part and another is SSB interview test. both are of 900 marks. In writing examination part For every incorrect response the negative marking in examination is is - 0.33 marks. That means if if your 3 questions are incorrect you will be deducted one mark

Hey,
Well,Yes you can go for UPSC examination after getting into NDA. The basic eligibility criterua is that the candidate must hold a graduation degree in any discipline recognized by the government of India. The candidate must be a citizen of India and must be atleast 21 years of age and the maximum age must be 32 years. For Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe,a relaxation of five years is given.

Hello Abhigyaan,

No, candidate suffering from sinusitis are not acceptable in NDA medical exam. A candidate who is physically and mentally fit is eligible for joining defense services through NDA. Some other eligibility requirements for NDA are given as below :-

  • Only unmarried males are eligible to apply for NDA 2020 .
  • Candidates under the age group of 16.5 to 19.5 years are only eligible.
  • Minimum education qualification required to apply for NDA is 10+2(Army), 10+2(Physics and Mathematics for Air Force and Navy) .
