NDA Cut off 2019 – Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) releases the cut off of NDA examination after completion of all exam stages. NDA 2019 cut off is released for both written exam and final selection. NDA cut off 2019 is the minimum marks that candidates have to secure to qualify the exam and become eligible for the next stage of selection process. To be selected for Army, Navy, Air Force and Naval Academy, candidates should secure the minimum qualifying marks in the exam stages. On the basis of NDA cut off 2019 of written exam, candidates will be called for SSB Interview.
After the completion of SSB Interview, UPSC will prepare the final merit list based on aggregate marks secured by candidates in written NDA exam and SSB Interview. On the basis of candidates’ rank in the merit list, they will be offered admission to the respective defence academies.

What are the factors affecting NDA Cut Off 2019?
The cut off of NDA will be calculated based on the following factors.
Total number of candidates appearing in the exam
Number of vacancies
Exam difficulty level
What is sectional NDA Cut Off 2019?
The sectional cut off refers to the minimum qualifying marks that candidates will have to secure to qualify each section of exam. The sectional cut off is calculated out of the total marks of each section. To qualify each section, candidates are required to secure the prescribed sectional cut off. The sectional cut off varies every year for NDA 1 and 2. As per cut off analysis for NDA 1 2018, the sectional cut off was 25%. The sectional cut off for the year 2017 of both NDA 1 and 2 was also 25%. In 2016, the sectional cut off for NDA 1 was 25% while it was 20% for NDA 2.
What is overall NDA 2019 Cutoff?
The overall cut off is determined out of the total marks. It is the total marks that candidates have to secure at written and SSB Interview stage to be selected for admission. Only those candidates who secures the overall cut off are declared qualified.
NDA Cutoff Expected 2019 for Written Exam
The cutoff NDA written exam will be calculated out of 900 marks. Candidates who will obtain the minimum qualifying marks in the written exam as fixed by the Commission will be selected for SSB Interview.

NDA 2019 - SSB Interview
SSB Interview involves two stages of selection process comprising of Psychological Aptitude Test and Intelligence Test. Selection Services Board (SSB) conducts the interview for a total of five days in two stages. Candidates have to qualify Stage 1 of the interview to be able to proceed to Stage 2 of the exam stage.

NDA Cut off 2019 for Selection
The final NDA cutoff is the marks secured by the last recommended candidates. The cutoff to shortlist candidates for final selection will be calculated out of 1800 marks I.e 900 marks of written exam and 900 marks of SSB Interview. Only those candidates who will clear the cut off marks will be considered for the final merit list. Admission to National Defence Academy and Indian Naval Academy will be offered to candidates as per their ranks in the merit list.
NDA 1 Cut off 2018 Vs 2017
Compared to 2017, NDA 1 cut off 2018 for the written exam has decreased. NDA 1 2018 cut off for written exam is 338 while in 2017 it was 342. Similarly, the final cut off has also dipped in 2018 compared to 2017. The final cut off for 2018 is 705 while it was 708 in 2017.

NDA 2 cut off in the year 2017 for written exam was 258 while it was 229 in 2016. This means, the cut off in the year 2017 has increased by 29 marks compared in 2016. The final cut off for the year 2017 was high with 624 marks while it was 602 marks in 2016.
