IBPS RRB Exam Pattern 2019 - Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) prescribes the exam pattern of IBPS RRB Officers I, II & III and office assistant. IBPS RRB 2019 exam pattern provides the details about the paper pattern, marking scheme, the division of questions, exam duration and other information. Based on the exam pattern candidates will be able to prepare well for the exam. IBPS conducted IBPS RRB 2019 preliminary exam on August 3, 4, 8, 11, 17, 18 and 25, 2019. The mains exam /single IBPS RRB exam for Officers (I, II & III) will be held on September 22 and mains for Office Assistant will be conducted on September 29 at various centres across India. Candidates who wish to apply for Officers Scale I, II, III and Office Assistants can fill the IBPS RRB Application Form 2019 from June 18 to July 4 in online mode. Before filling the application form, candidates must check the eligibility criteria in order to avoid rejection at any later stage.

IBPS RRB Exam Pattern 2019 for Preliminary Exam

As per the exam pattern, the prelims IBPS RRB 2019 for the post of Office Assistant (Multi-purpose) and Scale I Officer consists of two subjects - reasoning and numerical ability. There will be total 80 objective type questions asked from both the papers. Each question will carry 1 marks and will be conducted for 45 minutes. Candidates can choose to answer their paper either in Hindi or English. To qualify both the papers, candidates will have to secure minimum cutoff marks. Candidates will be shortlisted for the mains examination on the basis of marks secured by candidates in each category. IBPS RRB 2019 Exam Pattern for Main Examination

The mains exam pattern of IBPS RRB comprises five subjects - reasoning, numerical ability, general awareness, language exam (English / Hindi) and computer knowledge. There will be total 200 questions, carrying one mark each. Candidates will be given 2 hours to answer the paper. All the question will be objective in nature. IBPS RRB Exam Pattern 2019 for Single Level Examination

The single level examination is conducted for the Officer Scale-II (General Banking Officer)Officer Scale-II (Specialist Cadre)Officer Scale-III. According to the exam pattern, there will be objective type questions. The Exam Pattern of IBPS RRB 2019 for Single Level Examination comprises five subjects - reasoning, quantitative ability and data interpretation, financial awareness, language exam (English/Hindi) and computer knowledge. Each question will carry one mark. IBPS RRB Single level examination will be held for 2 hours. There will be total 200 questions asked in the examination.

For the candidates appearing for Specialist Cadre, there will an additional Professional Knowledge paper which will be conducted for 30 minutes. There will a total of 40 questions carrying 40 marks.

IBPS RRB 2019 Marking Scheme

The marking scheme is common for all stages of the exams for different posts under IBPS RRB 2019. As per exam pattern of IBPS RRB 2019, candidates will be awarded 1 mark for each correct answer while one-fourth marks (0.25 marks) will be deducted for each incorrect response. However, no marks shall be awarded or deducted for un attempted questions.

Can i apply for one or more posts like Officer scale 1 Assistant manager ???

Hi Naina,

ipbs has released the notifications for filling the vacancies in rrb for posts if both groupA officer's posts (scale 1,2 and 3) as well as groupB office assistant posts.

The dates for registration are from 18th June 2019 onwards.

One can apply for both these posts of officer as well as office assistant because dates of exams are different for both so one can easily appear in the exams for both the groups.

But, in case of groupA officer's posts one can only choose any one grade scale from 1,2or3, and not for all the scales at a single time.

So ultimately, yes you can apply both  for the posts of group A officer's posts as well as for posts of group B assistant officer. 

But you have to register separately by paying separate fees for both the post's exams.

The overall cut off for ibps clerk for hearing handicap category ( Maharashtra state ) is not available on ibps site. Can you please help me

Hi Pratik,

There are 3 factors that majorly determine your ranking in the exam - the total number of applicants for the exam, the total number of vacancies available for the exam and the difficulty level of the exam. Since the results for this year’s exam will be out by January end, for your reference, the expected overall cutoff for hearing handicap category, based kn pervious years’ cutoff is 37. The actual cutoff maybe around this figure.

The expected range of the cutoff for Final Selection for your category is 25.5(minimum scores) to 40.4 (maximum scores).

first go to ibps official website.there will be list of links among them, you have to select the exam link which you had applied for (eg.CWE/PO,CWE/RRB's).click on that particular link it will lead you to one page.here you can find a link for re-print application form.click on option"printing your application after payment", enter your details and submit.then you can have your printout.
