IBPS PO 2019-20 - Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has announced the result of IBPS PO mains examination on January 2, 2020. Candidates can check IBPS PO 2019 result for mains till January 8, 2020. The exam authorities have informed that the scorecard of the same will be released within seven days of the result declaration. Earlier, IBPS released the scorecard of IBPS PO 2019 prelims exam on November 8 on ibps.in. Candidates can check IBPS PO scorecard till November 30, 2019. IBPS has released the official notification and application form of IBPS PO 2019 on August 7, 2019. The result of IBPS PO 2019 prelims exam was declared on November 1. Candidates who have qualified the prelims exam will appear for IBPS PO 2019 mains exam on November 30, 2019. Candidates who qualify IBPS PO mains exam will be called to appear for personal interview. IBPS PO exam is conducted in three stages - prelims, mains, and interview. IBPS PO prelims exam was held on October 12, 13, 19 and 20, 2019 in online mode while the mains exam on November 30, 2019. On the basis of merit cum preference, candidates will be posted in one of the 20 Participatory Banks under IBPS. This year, the authority is expected to announce as many as 4250 vacancies.

IBPS has released the cutoff of IBPS PO prelims exam along with the scorecard on November 8, 2019. IBPS determines the cut off of IBPS PO for each stage – Prelims, Mains and Interview category wise. Candidates have to secure sectional as well as overall IBPS PO cut off to qualify each stage of the recruitment process. IBPS PO cut off 2019 of each stage is released sometime after the result. Candidates who will score higher marks in the mains examination, single online exam and interview will be placed at higher ranks in IBPS PO merit list and amongst those having high ranks will be allotted to any of the participating banks.

IBPS PO Result 2019

The result of IBPS PO mains exam has been declared by the exam body on January 1, 2020. Candidates have to log in using their registration number and date of birth. IBPS declared the result of IBPS PO prelims exam on November 1, 2019. The authority announces the result of IBPS PO for each stage separately. The result of IBPS PO is announced in online mode. Candidates can download the result by using their registration/roll number and date of birth/password. Only those candidates will be considered qualified who will secure marks equal to or more than the cut off scores.

  1. Go to the IBPS PO result link (link will be available as and when the result is announced).

  2. Enter your registration number/login ID and date of Birth/Password.

  3. The result will be displayed on the screen.

  4. Print and save the result for future reference.

IBPS PO 2019 Interview Round

All those candidates who will qualify in the mains exam will have to further appear for the Interview round. The interview will be conducted for 15 to 20 minutes and will carry weightage of 100 marks. The questions from the topics related to the banking sector, general awareness, current affairs, etc.

IBPS PO Eligibility Criteria 2019

Before filling the application form, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria of IBPS PO. The eligibility criteria are the minimum requirement that must be fulfilled by the candidates before they apply for the test. The examination authority determines the eligibility criteria of IBPS PO on the basis of nationality, age and education qualification. Find the eligibility criteria of IBPS PO in the table below:

B.A., B, Tech., or any other Bachelors Degree from a university recognized by the Government of India or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Government of India

Additional Qualification

The candidate must be computer literate as the mode of examination is online. The candidate must also have proficiency, both verbal and written in the language of the state or the union territory.


However, the authority has provided certain age relaxations to the candidates belonging to the reserved category which can range from 3 years to 10 years.

IBPS PO Admit Card 2019

All those candidates who fill the application form successfully are issued the admit card of IBPS PO. Candidates will be able to download IBPS PO admit card by using registration/roll number and date of birth/password. The admit card of IBPS PO will contain details like the name of the candidates, roll number, registration number, date and time of the test, exam centre details, etc. Candidates must bring the admit card to the exam centre on the day of the test along with one of the prescribed valid photo ID proofs - Aadhaar Card, Voter ID Card, PAN Card, Driving License, Passport. It must be remembered that no candidates will be allowed to appear for the test without the admit card and ID proof.

IBPS has released the list of IBPS PO exam centres along with the notification. Exam centres of IBPS PO are the venues where the exam is conducted. Candidate can select their preferred exam centre while filling the application form. The details related to the allotment of the exam centre are intimated to the candidates through the admit card. IBPS prescribes IBPS PO 2019 syllabus to help the candidates know what to study for the exam includes all the topics from which the questions are asked in the examination. The minimum and maximum age of a candidate for IBPS PO 2020 should be 20 years and 30 years respectively as on 1st July of 2020. And for SBI PO 2020 should be 21 years and 30 years respectively as on 1st April 2020. And you will complete your 30th on 03.03.2020. Thus it makes you ineligible for both the exams.

IBPS has released official notification of Probationary Officer at its official website. As per the notifications candidates between 20 to 30 year of age are eligible to apply. Candidates must have been born not earlier than 02.08.1989 and not later than 01.08.1999. For more details candidates can check IBPS eligibility criteria .

No, you are not eligible for apply IBPS PO. According to the rules, The minimum age of candidate should be 20 and maximum age should be 30. The candidate who born earlier than 1 august 2000 then He/ she can apply for IBPS PO 2020.

Greetings !!

Yes , you can definitely apply for both IBPS PO. The eligibility criteria for IBPS PO  with respect to educational qualification is that, a candidate must have done graduation in any discipline or equivalent qualification from a recognized university. Final year or final semester candidates are also eligible to apply, however, they can only apply provisionally. Candidate if called for interview, have to produce their passing mark sheet or proof of passing the graduation exam or the provisional certificate.  If any doubts, pls feel free to ask.
