IBPS PO Syllabus 2019 - Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) prescribes the syllabus of IBPS PO 2019 along with the official notification. IBPS PO 2019 syllabus includes Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning , General Awareness and English section. While IBPS PO Syllabus 2019 prelims exam is amalgamation of Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning and English section. On the other hand IBPS PO 2019 syllabus for mains exam includes Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning & Computer aptitude, English section, and General Awareness. However, a descriptive section for letter writing and essay writing has been added to the last stage of IBPS PO exam stage. It is important for the candidates to know IBPS PO syllabus 2019 for prelims and mains stage in details.IBPS has released the official notification on August 2, 2019 and candidates can fill the application form of IBPS application form from August 7, 2019. IBPS has brought some new changes in exam pattern of IBPS PO last year which are as follows:
Exam pattern of IBPS PO 2019 for Main Examination comprises 157 questions instead of 200 questions like earlier pattern.
Main Examination syllabus of IBPS PO 2019 includes an English descriptive paper which will assess the candidates’ writing skills.
There will be 2 questions for Letter Writing and Essay Writing for a total of 25 marks. The time duration allotted would be 30 minutes for this section.
Duration of the IBPS PO Mains exam is increased to 3 hours 30 minutes due to the introduction of English descriptive paper in IBPS PO 2019 syllabus.
‘Computer Aptitude’ section is added with the Reasoning Ability section. So, there will not be any separate section for ‘Computer Awareness’ like previous year IBPS PO 2019 syllabus.
Name of ‘Quantitative Aptitude’ section is renamed with ‘Data Interpretation & Analysis’

There is a sectional cut-off in all the 3 sections which you will need to qualify separately as well as the overall cutoff. As a result of this, every year the cut-off changes. In 2018, the cut-off was 56.75 for general, 55.50 for OBC, 49.25 for SC and 41.75 for ST category. So try to solve correctly more number of questions as there is a negative marking of 0.25 for each wrong answer.
