IBPS PO Exam Pattern 2019 - Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) prescribes the exam pattern of IBPS PO 2019. However, the mains exam will be conducted for a total of 200 marks containing questions from five sections - Reasoning and Computer Aptitude, General/Economy/Banking Awareness, English Language, Data Analysis and Interpretation. As per the exam pattern of IBPS PO 2019, the exam is held in the following three stages:

Only those candidates will be able to appear for the mains exam who will qualify in the prelims phase.   • The mains exam will be held in online mode
  • Duration allotted for the mains exam is 3 hours 30 minutes.
  • Medium of the exam will be both Hindi and English except for English.

IBPS PO Exam Pattern 2019 for Interview

All those candidates who will pass the mains exam will be called for the interview round. For the interview round, 100 marks is allotted. The interview is conducted to test the candidate's personality and knowledge of the banking sector, current affairs etc.

IBPS PO Exam Pattern 2019 for Prelims Exam

The prelims exam of IBPS PO is the first stage in the selection process of the examination. As per the exam pattern of IBPS PO, all those candidates who qualify in the prelims exam will qualify for the mains exam.   • The prelims exam has questions from three sections - Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Language.

  • English Language sections have 30 questions of 1 mark each while the Reasoning Ability and Quantitative Aptitude have 35 questions carrying 1 mark each.

  • The test is held in both Hindi and English except of English which is held in only English.

  • Each of the three section is allotted 20 minutes within which candidates must complete each section which means the test is conducted for a total of 100 marks.

  • For each wrong response given by the candidate, 0.25 marks will be deducted. No marks will be deducted in case the answer is left unanswered.

I am purshuing 3-2semistor and I am 20 years , can I apply for SBI PO (or) IBPS PO this year

Rama, for being eligible for SBI PO, you need to be between 21 to 30 years . There is an age relaxation for Reserved Categories. If you are 20 years, you should turn 21 at least by April 1st, 2020. If you do not turn 21 by 1st April 2020, you might not be eligible for SBI PO.

But for IBPS PO, the minimum age limit is 20 years and so you qualify for appearing for IBPS exam. Regarding you studying our Final year graduation, Graduates with a Bachelor's degree in any discipline are eligible for both SBI PO and IBPS PO. And those who are appearing for their final year exams are also eligible. But their recruitment is subjective to fulfillment of the eligibility criteria required.

In short, you have to wait for SBI PO until next year but can appear for IBPS PO this year.

Hello,

Sorry but u are not eligible to take the ibps po exam of 2020 since all candidates must have a graduate degree or equivalent in any discipline from a recognized University the marksheet should be dated earlier than august 28 ,2020 for qualification .

There isn't any minimum percentage requirement to be eligible to appear in SBI PO and IBPS PO.

  • To be eligible to appear in SBI PO a candidate must have passed bachelor's degree or its equivalent from a recognized board or University or Central Government.
  • Candidates who are in final year are also eligible.

  • A candidate must have passed bachelor's degree from a recognized board or university.

The maximum age to appear in  IBPS PO exam is 30 years. There is relaxation of three years for non creamy layer of OBC caste. As your age is 31 years now, you can give the exam upto the age of 33 years.
So you are eligible for the IBPS PO entrance exam.
