IBPS PO 2014 Eligibility Criteria – Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) announces IBPS PO 2014 Eligibility Criteria, with opening registration for application forms for IBPS PO 2014.

To apply for the post, the candidate must fall under the following IBPS PO 2014 Eligibility Criteria:

  • Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or equivalent qualification.
  • The candidates must be aged between 20 years and 30 years as on July 1, 2014.
  • The upper age limit for reserved category candidates has been relaxed up to a specified extent.

According to the IBPS PO 2014 Reservation Criteria, the relaxation in upper age limit has been given as under:

IBPS announced the Eligibility Criteria and Important Dates schedule for IBPS PO 2014, along with opening registration of Application Forms in July.

The registration of the candidates will be done in online mode only. IBPS PO 2014 Application Form are available online from July 22, 2014 and the application process will be completed on August 11, 2014. The registration of the candidates will be done in online mode only.

For IBPS PO 2019 and IBPS Clerk , EWS Certificate for which financial year is required? 2018-19 or 2019-20?

Candidates who are applying for IBPS PO and Clerk should be noted that EWS Certificate will be required for the income of the financial year prior to the year of application. Hence 2018-19 is the year for which certificate is required

how many question to attend to qualify prelims

Hi,

In IBPS PO prelims, there are a total of 100 questions each carrying 1 mark. In preliminary exam, there are 30 questions in english, 35 questions in quantitative aptitude and 35 questions in reasoning ability. There is a sectional cut-off in all the 3 sections which you will need to qualify separately as well as the overall cutoff. As a result of this, every year the cut-off changes. In 2018, the cut-off was 56.75 for general, 55.50 for OBC, 49.25 for SC and 41.75 for ST category. So try to solve correctly more number of questions as there is a negative marking of 0.25 for each wrong answer.

Yes final year student can apply for IBPS PO and Clerk exam as you have to produce the documents while final stage of exam. Candidates who plan to appear in the exam should check the eligibility criteria of IBPS exam 2019.

Hello,

To appear for IBPS PO exam, there is no minimum percentage required. Candidates who have a bachelor's degree in any stream can apply for IBPS PO. Know more about IBPS PO Eligiblity Criteria here.

Hi Mukesh,

The minimum age for a candidate to give IBPS POExam is 20 years and maximum age is 30 years i.e. a candidate must be born on or after 02ndAugust 1989 but not later than 01st August 1999.IBPS PO Age limit is considered an important criterion for the selection of eligible candidates.
