IBPS Clerk 2019 - Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts IBPS Clerk exam to select candidates to the posts of clerical cadre in 19 public sector banks. The notification for IBPS Clerk 2019 will be released in September. Online application and registration process for the exam will begin after the release of notification. IBPS Clerk is conducted in two phases – preliminary and mains examination. As per IBPS calendar, the prelims exam is scheduled to be held on December 7, 8, 14 and 15, 2019. The mains exam will be conducted on January 19, 2020.


Candidates qualifying the prelims exam by securing the minimum qualifying marks as per their category will be called for the mains exam. Depending on the number of vacancies under IBPS Clerk 2019, candidates shortlisted based on their performance in the mains exam will be allotted to one of the participating banks. IBPS Clerk Eligibility Criteria 2019

The eligiblity criteria of IBPS Clerk specifies about the age, academic qualification and nationality. Candidates to be eligible for the recruitment exam should statisfy IBPS Clerk eligibility criteria laid down by IBPS. Candidates who will not meet the eligibility criteria will be rejected from the further process. Candidates before applying should ensure thay they fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria. IBPS Clerk eligibility criteria 2019 is given in the table below.


IBPS Clerk eligibility criteria

Age

The maximum age of candidates should be 28 years while the minimum age is 20 years. Relaxation in the upper age will be given to candidates belonging to reserved categories

Educational qualification

Candidates must have degree in any discipline

Knowlegde of local language

Candidates must know how to read or write and speak the official language of the state or Union Territories.

Computer proficiency

Candidates should have certificate/diploma/degree in computer operations or Language


IBPS Clerk Application Form 2019

The application form of IBPS Clerk will be released in September 2019. Candidates are required to apply online for the exam. The application form can be filled in four stages – registration, uploading of scanned photograph, signature, left thumb impression, hand written declaration, filling the detailed application form and fee payment. The application fee for general category candidates is Rs 600 while for SC/ST/PWD/EXSM it is Rs 100. Candidates will have to pay the fees through online payment gateway like credit card, debit card, internet banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets.


IBPS Clerk Exam Centres 2019

The exam centres of IBPS Clerk list out the names of the cities in each State or Union Territories where the preliminary and mains exam will be conducted. IBPS Clerk exam cities will be mentioned in the notification separately for preliminary and mains exam. Last year, IBPS Clerk prelims exam will be conducted across 195 centres while the mains exam will be held in 72 cities across India. The address of the IBPS Clerk exam centres 2019 will be mentioned in the admit card. IBPS may cancel any examination centre or add some other centres. The examination authority also reserves the right to allot exam centres other than the one selected by candidates. No request for change in IBPS Clerk exam centres will be accepted by IBPS.


IBPS Clerk admit card 2019

The admit card of IBPS Clerk recruitment will be released by IBPS separately for preliminary and mains exam. IBPS Clerk admit card for preliminary exam will be released in November 2019. The admit card for the mains exam will be issued to candidates in January 2020. IBPS Clerk admit card will be available online. To download the admit card, candidates need to login with their registration number/roll number and date of birth/password. IBPS Clerk 2019 admit card will carry details like name, registration number, roll number, time and date of exam, venue etc. No admit card will be sent to candidates by post. Candidates without the admit card or photo-identity proof will not be allowed to appear in the appear.


IBPS Clerk Exam Pattern 2019

The exam pattern of IBPS Clerk has been prescribed by IBPS for preliminary and mains exam. According to IBPS Clerk exam pattern, the preliminary and mains exam will be conducted online. The prelims exam comprises three sections - English Language, Numerical Ability and Reasoning Ability. The total marks allotted for the prelims exam is 100. The duration of the test is 60 minutes. The mains exam as per IBPS Clerk exam pattern consists of four sections - General/ Financial Awareness, General English, Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude and Quantitative Aptitude. The test carries total 200 marks. Mains exam will be held for 160 minutes. There will be sectional timings in both the tests. Candidates appearing for the exam must check IBPS Clerk exam pattern 2019 to know about the marking scheme, number of sections, total marks, total number of questions, time duration etc.


IBPS Clerk Syllabus 2019

IBPS Clerk Question Papers

IBPS Clerk Result 2019

IBPS will declare the result of IBPS Clerk separately for preliminary and mains exam. IBPS Clerk result 2019 for preliminary exam will be declared in December 2019/January 2020. On the basis of IBPS Clerk prelims result, candidates will be selected for the mains exam. Candidates will have to qualify in each of the three tests of prelims exam by securing the cutoff marks. IBPS Clerk result of mains exam will be announced in April 2020. Marks obtained in the mains exam will only be considered for the final merit list. The total marks of the mains exam which is 200 will be converted out of 100 for provisional allotment. Based on candidates rank in the merit list, candidates will be offered allotment in any of the participating banks. The raw score obtained by candidates in prelims and mains exam will be normalised using equi-percentile method. To check IBPS Clerk result, candidates have to login with their registration number or roll number and date of birth/password.


IBPS Clerk Cut off 2019

The cut off is the minimum qualifying marks that candidates need to secure to qualify the exam and become eligible for the next round of selection process. IBPS Clerk cut off is announced for preliminary and mains exam. Candidates securing the subject-wise and overall cut off in the prelims exam will be selected for the mains exam. Each candidates will have to secure a minimum score in online tests and total score of the mains exam. Candidates will be offered appointment based on the provisional allotment cutoff.
