IBPS Clerk 2018 - Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has published the scorecard of IBPS Clerk prelims examination on January 11, 2019. The institute has issued the IBPS Clerk mains admit card on January 5, 2018. Candidates can download the admit card of IBPS Clerk in online mode till January 20. The exam is scheduled to be conducted on January 20, 2019. The exam conducting authority has to fill 7275 vacancies through this recruitment exam for Clerical cadre in 19 public sector banks. Out of the total number, Uttar Pradesh has the highest vacancies - 944 followed by Tamil Nadu with 792 and Maharashtra with 772 vacancies. To appear for the exam, candidates must be between 20 to 28 years as on September 1, 1998, and should have a graduation degree in any discipline.
IBPS Clerk prelims result was released on January 4, 2019 in online mode. Candidates could check IBPS Clerk 2018 prelims result by entering their login credentials in the login window. The IBPS Clerk result for the mains exam will be released in April 2019.
IBPS is conducting IBPS Clerk 2018 in two stages - prelims and mains. The mains exam will be conducted on January 20, in 72 cities across the country whereas the prelims examination of IBPS Clerk 2018 was held on December 8, 9, 15, 16 in 190 cities across India. Candidates qualifying the preliminary examination are shortlisted for the mains exam of IBPS Clerk. The final merit of IBPS Clerk 2018 will be prepared on the basis of the mains examination marks. As per last year's data, over 30 lakh candidates are expected to appear in IBPS Clerk exam in 2018.

IBPS has released the mains admit card on January 5, 2019 in online mode. The prelims admit card was released on November 26 and candidates can download it till December 15 by using their login credentials. IBPS releases the admit card of IBPS Clerk 2018 for two stages -prelims and mains, separately. Candidates with successfully submitted application forms of IBPS Clerk 2018 can only download the admit card. Only those candidates who qualified in the prelims examination can download the IBPS Clerk mains admit card. The admit card for both the stages can be downloaded by entering the following details:

• Password/Date of Birth
Candidates are required to take printouts of the respective call letters and carry the same to the examination hall along with an identity proof.
The pre-exam training admit card of IBPS Clerk 2018 was released on November 14. The exam was conducted from November 26 to December 1, 2018, by nodal banks or participating organisations. IBPS Clerk pre-exam training is only given to some selected candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes/Minority Communities/Ex-servicemen/People with Disabilities. Candidates intending to opt for the pre-exam training of IBPS Clerk 2018, should select the relevant option while filling IBPS Clerk 2018 application form. IBPS Clerk pre-exam training is given free of cost, but candidates have to bear the transportation, living and other costs by themselves.
IBPS had released the IBPS Clerk application form 2018 on September 18, in online mode. The last date to apply for IBPS Clerk 2018 was October 10. The last date to print IBPS Clerk application form is October 25. Candidates must note that no other form of registration, other than online, is allowed by IBPS.

Registration: Candidates will be required to fill in their personal information.
Uploading photograph and signature: Candidates will be asked to upload their photograph, signature, thumb impression and handwritten declaration form
Filling up the application form: In this step, candidates will be required to fill the application form of IBPS Clerk 2018 by entering their personal, academic and communication details.
Preview of application form: At the fourth stage, they can preview the application details entered by them and finally pay the requisite application fee of IBPS Clerk 2018.
Fee payment: Candidates must pay through Debit Cards (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets. The IBPS Clerk application fee is given below:

Before applying for IBPS Clerk 2018 the candidates must go thoroughly through the eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria of IBPS Clerk 2018 consists of age, education qualification and nationality. The candidate must fulfill the following criteria to be eligible for the IBPS Clerk 2018:
Age requirement: The minimum age of the candidate should be 20 and maximum 28 years as on September 1, 2018.
Education qualification: The minimum qualification required for the post of IBPS Clerk is a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
Language Proficiency: Candidates must be proficient in the language of State/UT (candidates must know both reading and writing) for which the candidates will apply.
Nationality: The candidate must be a citizen of India and they must be subject of Nepal or subject of Bhutan or a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before January 1, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
The exam centres of IBPS Clerk 2018 have been published along with the notification. IBPS Clerk 2018 prelims exam will be conducted in 195 centres while the mains exam will be held in 72 cities across India. Candidates can select the exam cities while filling the application form online. However, IBPS can allot you a centre other than the choice made by you if there is non-availability of seats at preferred venues. Candidates will not be allowed to change IBPS Clerk exam centres after submission.

IBPS will announce the IBPS Clerk cut off marks for prelims, mains along with the result. The cut off for each stage will be released separately for each state. The cut off is the minimum marks that the candidates need to score to qualify each stage of the examination. Candidates have to score overall cut off marks as well as subjectwise and category wise cutoff scores to qualify the exam. Only those candidates who secure equal to or more than the decided cutoff by IBPS will be declared qualified for the next stage of the recruitment process.
