IBPS Clerk 2014 - Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has announced the dates of application for IBPS Clerk 2014 on August 12 this year to fill up around 40,000 vacancies (expected on the basis of vacancies announced in 2013) in the clerk cadre of around 20 public sector banks across India. The application process will be completed in September, 2014. The online examination will be held tentatively on December 6, 7, 13, 14, 20, 21 and 27, 2014.

IBPS Clerk 2014 Application Form – To fill up the clerical vacancies in various banks through IBPS, the registration of candidates will be held in online mode only. IBPS Clerk 2014 Application Form are available online from August 12, 2014, and the application process will continue till September 1, 2014.

IBPS Clerk 2014 Eligibility Criteria – Below is listed the IBPS Clerk 2014 Eligibility Criteria for the candidates applying for the exam:

  • Graduation in any discipline from recognized University or any other equivalent qualification recognized as such by Central Government.
  • The candidates aged between 20 years and 28 years can apply.
  • The upper age limit for reserved category candidates has been relaxed up to a specified extent.

IBPS Clerk 2014 Important Dates

Based on the last year’s IBPS schedule, the tentative IBPS Clerk 2014 Important Dates are as follows:

  • Application process to be done in Aug 12 - Sep 1, 2014
  • Online exam to be held on December 6, 7, 13, 14, 20, 21 and 27, 2014
  • Result to be released in January 2015.
  • Interview to be held in February 2015
  • Allotment to be made in April 2015.

IBPS Clerk 2014 Paper Pattern – As per the IBPS Clerk 2014 Paper Pattern, the 2-hour IBPS Clerk 2014 online exam will comprise 5 tests – Reasoning, English Language, Numerical Ability, General Awareness and Computer Knowledge – carrying a total of 200 questions of 1 mark each. Each section will carry 40 questions of 1 mark each. For every wrong answer marked in the objective-type tests, 0.25 marks will be deducted as negative marking.


IBPS Clerk 2014 Selection ProcessAs per IBPS Clerk 2014 Selection Process, those candidates who qualify in the Common Written Exam (CWE) will be called by participating banks and IBPS for a Common Interview that is the final round of selection. The qualified candidates in interview round are appointed in any of the participating banks.


IBPS Clerk 2014 Admit Card The admit card for IBPS Clerk 2014 exam will be available for downloading tentatively in November. Registered candidates will be able to download their IBPS Clerk 2014 Admit Card. No hardcopy of the call letter will be sent by IBPS to any candidate.


IBPS Clerk 2014 Result – The IBPS declare the IBPS Clerk 2014 Result tentatively in January 2015. The candidates are required to secure minimum score in each of the 5 tests and minimum total score of the common written exam in order to enter the interview round. The minimum cutoff is yet to be decided by IBPS. The cutoff for the written exam is based on the number of the vacancies available.

It is very difficult to predict the score after normalization as it depends on the difficulty level of exam and the average marks scored by other candidates hence it won't be possible to calculate the marks

I have 20 years completed.My dob is 17/09/1999. but in ibps clerk eligibility criteria,there is clearly mentioned that candidate born later than 1 sep,1999 will not be considered eligible. so i want to know that can i eligible for the ibps clerk 2019 exam??

Age Eligibility : (As on 01.09.2019):

Minimum: 20 years Maximum: 28 years

So you can apply for the exam if you are twenty years old.

As per official statement of IBPS Clerk regarding educational eligibility, it states the following-

The candidate must possess valid Mark-sheet / Degree Certificate that he/ she is a graduate on the day he/ she registers and indicate the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation while registering online.

All the educational qualifications mentioned should be from a University/ Institution/ Board recognised by Govt. Of India/ approved by Govt. Regulatory Bodies and the final result should have been declared on or before 09.10.2019 .

Proper document from Board / University for having declared the result on or before 09.10.2019 has to be submitted at the time of joining. The date of passing the eligibility examination will be the date appearing on the mark-sheet or provisional certificate issued by University/ Institute. In case the result of a particular examination is posted on the website of the University/ Institute and web based certificate is issued then proper document/certificate in original issued and signed by the appropriate authority of the University/ Institute indicating the date of passing properly mentioned thereon will be reckoned for verification and further process.

As you can see clearly that all eligibility are to be met on or before 9th october, and you're in 6th sem and yet to give finals and results to be declared afterwards, you can try next year.
