Thus, it can be said that either the candidates who took Level I exam are more competitive than the other two levels or the Level II and III exams were much difficult than Level I.

Social Studies records highest success rate in Level II

However, it must be noted that in the Level exam, there is only one paper, while for Level II and III, candidates have to opt for one single paper out of all the given subjects (for which the papers are held).

Further, the result data reflects that out of all the three levels, the highest number of candidates had taken Paper II. Out of the 154577 candidates who took Level II exam, the highest number of candidates appeared for Social Studies (59870), while least number of candidates took Music paper (318). Despite the highest number of candidates appearing in Social Studies, the highest success rate was recorded by candidates who appeared in Punjabi Paper - 51.57 percent.

The result data shows that 4109 candidates had appeared in Punjabi Paper of HTET Level II, while 2119 could pass the examination. On the other hand, while Social Studies saw 59870 candidates appearing in the Level II exam, only 270 made it to the cutoff. This number 270 corresponds to 0.45 percent of the appeared candidates for the paper.

No candidate qualified in Urdu and Music Papers of Level III

Now comes the level with the least number of qualified candidates among all the three levels. It was Level III where Psychology paper reflected promising numbers with 77 candidates qualifying the examination out of 1141. These 77 candidates translate to 6.75 percent of the appeared candidates. Contrary to the highest success rate, the lowest pass percentage was recorded by candidates who took Urdu and Music papers. Candidates who took Urdu and Music papers reflected shocking numbers with not even a single candidate passing the examination. Thus, in these two papers of Level III, the pass percentage is 0.
