CTET Cut Off 2020 - Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) determines the CTET 2020 Cut off in the form of minimum qualifying marks. The cut off of CTET 2020 will be released separately for all the categories. Candidates can check CTET cut off 2020 separately for paper 1 and paper 2. All the candidates who will score marks equal to or more than the cut off of CTET 2020 will be considered as qualified. Candidates belonging to reserved categories will also get certain relaxation in CTET 2020 cut off marks. As per the CTET cutoff 2020 candidates must score 60% marks to qualify the exam. Candidates who will score marks equivalent to CTET 2020 cut off will be issued the eligibility certificate which is valid for 7 years from the date of declaration of CTET result 2020. CTET exam is conducted for two papers - paper I and II for which the candidates were given 2 hours and 30 minutes each. As per the CTET exam dates 2020, the online exam will be conducted on July 5, 2020. Candidates can download CTET admit card 2020 tentatively from June 20.

How to check CTET 2020 Cut Off ?

  • Visit the official website of CTET 2020 - ctet.nic.in.

  • Now click on the “CTET Result 2020” link.

  • A new login window will open.

  • Enter your roll number in the required field.

  • Click on the login button.

  • The screen will display result along with the CTET 2020 cut off.

CTET Qualifying Marks

The exam conducting authorities determines the qualifying marks of the CTET 2020 exam. Candidates who score 60% marks in the examination will be considered as qualified. As the CTET exam is conducted for 150 marks, all candidates who will score marks equal to or more than 90 will also be considered as qualified. CBSE will issue eligibility certificates to qualified candidates after the declaration of results.

CTET Qualifying Certificate

After the declaration of results, CBSE will issue eligibility certificates to all qualified candidates. Those applicants who will clear the CTET 2020 cut off can download their eligibility certificates from the official website. Qualified candidates will be eligible to be appointed as teachers. The eligibility certificate of CTET 2020 will remain valid for 7 years from the day of declaration of result.

CTET 2020 - Number of Attempts

There is no age limit to appear for the CTET exam. However, candidates can reappear for the CTET exam to improve their score.

CTET Answer Key 2020

The conducting authorities will release the answer key of CTET 2020 in PDF form. Candidates can check their CTET 2020 answer key using their application number and date of birth. In case of any discrepancies, CBSE also provides an answer key challenge window. Candidates have to pay Rs. 1000 per question to challenge the answer key.

CTET Result 2020

CBSE will release CTET 2020 result tentatively on August 7. Candidates can check the result of CTET 2020 with their application number and date of birth. The result will be announced for both paper 1 and 2. Candidates who will clear CTET cut off marks after the declaration of result will be issued eligibility certificates later.

Where can CTET Qualifiers Apply?

After clearing CTET exam candidates can pursue their careers in the teaching field. Candidates can join schools like Kendriya Vidyalaya, NVS and other private schools. In almost every teaching recruitment CTET exam is compulsory for all candidates. Some state governments also accept the CTET eligibility certificate for the recruitments.

Question: Where can CTET qualifiers apply?

Answer:

Candidates who qualify CTET can apply to be teachers of classes I to V and/or VI to VIII in Central Government schools and private schools that consider CTET certificates. 

Question: If I secure the minimum cut off of CTET, will I be allotted School by the examination authority?

Answer:

No, you will not be considered qualified in this case. To qualify for the eligibility certificate, you must score not only the qualifying marks but also the CTET 2019 cut off.

Question: Will I qualify if I score only the qualifying marks and fail to secure the minimum CTET cut off score by 2 - 3%?

Answer:

 On the basis of CTET cut off, there were a total of 10,73,545 candidates who qualified in paper I while there were 8,78,425 candidates who qualified in paper II.

Question: How many candidates qualified in the previous year on the basis of cut off of CTET?

Answer:

This year the CTET Cut off 2019 for OBC might be between 85 to 90. The expected CTET general cut off 2019 might be around 90 while the cut off for SC/ST might be between 80 - 85.

Question: What will be the expected cut off of CTET for the OBC category this year?

Answer:

Considering the trend followed in the past few years it is expected that CTET cut off for OBC category candidates will be around 80 to 85 marks. 

Question: How many candidates register for CTET?

Answer:

A total of 29.22 lakh candidates registered for CTET 2019 out of which around 23.77 lakh candidates appeared for the exam making the attendance percentage a good 81.34%. Out of these numbers, 3.52 lakh candidates qualified for the July session. These figures have been provided by Union HRD Minister, Ramesh Pokhriyal to ANI.

i done hindi pandit couse can i eligible for ctet exam

You're eligible for CTET exam paper-2 but not eligible fro paper-1 exam. (If you've 50% marks in bachelors)

The eligibility criteria fro paper-2 is given below:

  • A graduate degree in the relevant discipline must be obtained.
  • Also, the candidate must have passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).

OR

  • A bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks must be acquired.
  • Aspirants must have completed 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).

OR

  • Graduation with at least 45% marks must be done in relevant discipline.
  • He/she must also complete a year in Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.

OR

  • Candidates must pass Senior Secondary or equivalent with at least 50% marks
  • Also, they must have either passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

OR

  • Candidates must have passed senior secondary or equivalent) with at least 50% marks.
  • Along with it, they must have passed or should be appearing in the final year of 4- year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.

OR

  • Aspirants must have done graduation with at least 50% marks.
  • Also, they should have passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education).

Sir, I had done B.Ed since 2012,this year I am trying to fill CTET but college name not shown in list.Please guide me.Can B.Ed stream are close in to this college.(studied in National PG College,Barhalganj)

hi,

from the information of the official website of national post graduate college barhalganj , it is not showing b.ed course on its curriculum section. as for the website, there is no b.ed course right now, you have passed the course almost 8 years back. however you can mention about your affiliated university name, since the college does not offer b.ed course any more.

It might be that the college in which you have studied in not recognised by NCTE.Once check the recognition of your college by using the link below

Select the state and after a new page will appear select your course and check.
