CSIR UGC NET Result 2018 December - The Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) has declared the result of CSIR UGC NET for December session on April 3, 2019. CSIR UGC NET December result has been announced for CSIR UGC NET exam which was conducted on December 16. As per the result data of December session of UGC CSIR NET 2018, a total of 1969, 1500, 3989 and 67 candidates have qualified for JRF (NET) CSIR, JRF (NET) UGC, Lectureship (NET) and JRF only respectively. In June session, 1991 candidates had qualified for JRF (NET) CSIR, 1500 for JRF (NET) UGC, 3756 for Lectureship (NET) and 59 for JRF only.

Pure mathematicians try to generalize and make more abstract the pre-existing concepts , they delve deeper into seemingly simplistic mathematics.
There are two things that can be done with a concept or an idea, you can go uphill or you can go downhill ( look deeper into the concepts).Pure mathematics goes downhill.
Lets say that we have the Cartesian co-ordinate system. A pure mathematician defines a field of numbers, develops the concept of vectors , define vector spaces,find some of the properties of vector spaces ,generalise to functional spaces, define hilbert spaces and so on.
On the other hand an applied mathematician would find how to use this concept of Cartesian co-ordinate system to solve some problems, in other words how can this mathematical concept be applied.
In the light of the above example, they may realise that quantum mechanics is having some sort of link with linear algebra, incorporate the concept of hilbert spaces , get more result out of the equations (as those concepts have already been developed in pure mathematics )
Applied mathematics like pure mathematics plays a crucial role in science. In physics many concepts of pure mathematics are now applied ( so in a sense physics is applied mathematics) .

As per the eligibility criteria of CSIR UGC NET exam you should have at least 50% marks in your BTech degree. But if you are in the final year aur final semester you also can submit the application form but then you are eligible to apply under the result awaited category. in this situation you have to put your aggregate marks after completion of BTech degree to avail the fellowship . hope this will help you

As per the eligibility criteria for CSIR UGC NET the candidate must have completed his or her graduation in in B.Pharma or BE or B. Tech or MSc or MBBS or Integrated BS-MS or any other science degree with at least 55% marks. Since you have a graduate degree in B.Pharma you are eligible to appear for the exam.

Yes you can do. You can apply for CSIR NET exam with your post graduation eligibility. They don't look about the cross majors. It is one of the toughest exams in India and at the same time best exam which can give you a chance to get a lecturer job in colleges and Junior research fellow position in research institutes and colleges with a stipend of 31000 with HRA.
