CGPSC Syllabus 2019 for Preliminary Exam
According to CGPSC exam pattern of Preliminary exam, the preliminary examination will have two compulsory papers of 2 hours duration. Both the question papers will have objective type multiple choice questions. The first question paper will contain 100 questions from General Studies. Maximum marks allotted for the test is 200. For each wrong answer, 1/3 marks will be deducted. The second question paper will have 100 question from Aptitude Test. The test carries 200 marks. There is negative marking of 1/3 for any wrong answer. The question paper will be both in Hindi and English. The paper-wise CGPSC 2019 syllabus of the preliminary exam is given below.
CGPSC Syllabus 2019 for General Studies
The General Studies paper is divided into two parts – 1 and 2. There will be 50 questions each in Part 1 and 2. Each question will carry 2 marks. CGPSC syllabus for general studies is given below.

The aptitude test will have 100 questions carrying 200 marks. For each correct answer, candidates will score 2 marks while for wrong answer 1/3 marks will be deducted. Questions in the test will be asked from the following topics.

Decision making and problem-solving
General mental ability
Basic numeracy (numbers and their relations, orders of magnitude etc.), Data interpretation (charts, graphs, tables, data sufficiency etc.
