CDS Result 2021 - Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is expected to release the CDS 1 2021 result at its official website @upsc.gov.in, in the third week of March 2021. CDS 1 2021 result will be released in PDF format and consists of the roll number of all the qualified candidates for the CDS exam. CDS result 2021 is released level wise for AFA, IMA, INA and OTA. Candidates qualifying one stage of the exam as per the CDS result will be qualified for the next stage which is the SSB (Service Selection Board). On the basis of candidates performance in the result of CDS 2021, UPSC will release the scorecard of all the candidates selected for the final recruitment of CDS 2021 into the academies. How to check CDS result 2021?
UPSC will release the CDS 2021 result in online mode in PDF format. Candidates should follow below-mentioned steps to check the result.
Step 1: Visit official website - upsc.gov.in
Step 2: Go to the “Examination” tab.
Step 3: Click on “Active Examinations” from the drop-down menu.
Step 4: Click on “Combined Defence Services Examination (I), 2021”.
Step 5: Click on download Combined Defence Services (I) result in 2021.
Step 6: A PDF with Roll Number of selected candidates will appear on the screen. Press “Ctrl + F” and type your Roll Number. If it is there in the list, you have qualified in CDS (I) 2021 Written Exam and are eligible to appear for the next round.
Step 7: Download and save the Result of CDS (I) 2021 for future

UPSC CDS Result 2021 Scorecard
UPSC releases CDS 2021 result scorecard along with the final result. CDS 2021 scorecard will be released in PDF format. Candidates will be able to check the marks secured by them in the written exam as well as in SSB Interview along with their roll number and name in the scorecard.
How does UPSC calculate the score of the CDS result?
UPSC calculates the score by following the process mentioned below-
Candidates will get plus 1 mark for each correct answer.
For incorrect answers, 1/3 marks will be deducted as negative marking.
If candidates answer more than one option it will be treated as the wrong answer and will be counted as negative marks.
CDS Marksheet 2021
UPSC releases the mark sheet of CDS consisting of the marks obtained by qualified candidates along with candidate’s roll number, name, date of birth, total marks obtained in written exam & SSB Interview and final total marks.
What after the final declaration of CDS result 2021?
Candidates who qualify in the written exam of CDS 2021 will be eligible to appear for the final round, which is the SSB interview and Intelligence and Personality Test. The SSB call letter will be sent to all candidates at their registered email ID, the admit card of SSB will have the reporting time and date along with the address of SSB centre. All candidates are required to carry the following documents for the SSB interview in original format:

10th and 12th class mark sheet
Graduation and Post graduation (if mentioned in the registration form) degree and mark sheet)
NCC certificates (if required)
Identity proof - Voter ID Card, Aadhar Card, Passport, Pan Card

Yes you will get the call. It is not necessary to register. If you have cleared the written exam you will be able to receive an email for an SSB interview.

As per as your Date Of Birth, you will be 18 years of old by April 2022, which does not fulfill the required CDS Eligibility Criteria 2022 as per Age Limit which is 19 - 25 years of old( unmarried).
Candidates should be graduates and between the age group of 19 to 25 years. CDS eligiblity criteria 2021 is based on age limit, educational qualification, nationality and more.

Can 1st year BCA student apply for CDS OTA ?

I am extremely sorry to tell you dear but you are not eligible for CDS OTA if you are in the first year of BCA
This is because,
To be eligible for CDS OTA you should have completed your graduation course, also students who are in the final year of their degree examination are eligible
but you are still in the first year of your BCA ,thus you are not eligible. You can apply for CDS OTA either after the completion of your bca or in the final year of your BCA.

You need to hold a graduation degree in order to apply for both of the CDS and AFCAT exam. Your class 12th marks won't pose any hindrance.
The education qualification needed for CDS are:

For I.M.A. and OTA, candidates should have a bachelor's degree from a university or equivalent degree from institutions that have been recognized by the Central/State Government.

For INA candidate needs to have a Degree in Engineering from a recognized University/institution.
-
Also, to apply to Air Force Academy, the candidates need a degree from a recognized university( with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2) or a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
