CDS II 2015 Important Dates
CDS II 2015 Important Dates – Union Public Service Commission has specified the Important Dates of CDS II 2015 for the candidates looking to go through the Defence job recruitment process. According to CDS II 2015 Application Form Dates, application process for CDS II 2015 continued from July 25 to August 14, 2015.
CDS II 2015 is set to be conducted on November 1, 2015. Admit Card for the written exam will be available tentatively in October 2015. Result of the written exam is likely to be declared in December 2015.

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced to conduct the common entrance exam – on November 1 – for Graduation level pass and appearing candidates who are looking to join the Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wings of Combined Defence Services.
The exam is conducted twice a year. CDS II 2015 will be conducted on November 1 to fill as many as 464 CDS vacancies including 200 for Indian Military Academy, Dehradun, 45 for Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, 32 for Air Force Academy, Hyderabad, 175 for Officers Training Academy, Chennai (for men), and 11 for Officers Training Academy, Chennai (for women).

my date of birth is 26/08/1996 M i eligible for CDS 2 2020 for OTA ?
Eligibility criteria for OTA is:-
* you need a degree from recognised University
*You should be 19 to 25 years old
Now with your date of birth in 1996 , you are only 24 years old and thus you are in the age group -19 to 25 old and thus you fulfil the OTA eligibility criteria and thus you are eligible for it with your date of birth

cds indian military academy position, minimum age limit is 19 years, maximum age limit is 24, as per 2020 notifications, For IMA, candidates must not born earlier than January 2, 1997 and not later than January 1, 2002 are only eligible. so you may apply this year and next year 2021.

I am b.sc honours student can I apply for DRDO CDS SSC or other graduation base exam
Yes you can apply for these exams after your B.sc.
To apply for DRDO you will have to apply through CEPTAM entrance as this is the only entrance conducted by DRDO for all the B.Sc graduates.
You can apply for SSC CGL except Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) and Assistant Audit Officer (AAO). These posts requires a knowledge for the statistics and accounts.

The Position the candidate gets commissioned to depends on the field he trains in, IMA, INA, IAF or OTA.
The position depends upon your performance in the training and the academy; Lieutenant
Sub-lieutenant for Indian Navy and Flying Officer in Indian Air Force.

What are the requirements and its eligibility criteria of CDS exam?
UPSC has released the eligibility notification for CDS 2020. UPSC Combined Defence Service 2020 eligibility criteria consist of age limit, nationality and educational qualification.
As per the CDS exam eligibility 2020, Indian nationals having an age between 19- 25 years are eligible for the exam. Moreover, candidates who have passed graduation or appearing for their final year are eligible to apply for CDS exam.
Note that only eligible candidates will be able to fill the CDS application form.
