CDS (I) 2015 Eligibility – UPSC has declared eligibility of Combined Defence Services (CDS (I)) 2015 Exam. It is the exam conducted by UPSC for selecting candidates for admissions to various courses including IMA Dehradun, INA Ezhimala, Air Force Academy Hyderabad and OTA Chennai.

CDS (I) 2015 is scheduled to be held on February 15, 2015.

CDS (I) 2015 Eligibility Criteria – Applicants need to check eligibility criteria before applying CDS (I) 2015 Application. Check below for detailed information on CDS (I) 2015 Eligibility Criteria.

Nationality – A candidate may be considered eligible for CDS (I) 2015, if he/she is –

  • A citizen of India
  • A subject of Nepal
  • A subject of Bhutan
  • A Tibetan refugee who came to India before January 1, 1962 with intention of settling permanently in India
  • A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, The United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawai, Zaire, Ethiopia or Vietnam with the intention of permanent settlement in India

Age Limits – Applicants applying for IMA, INA, Air Force Academy and OTA need to check their respective age limit criteria as given below –

  • IMA and INA– Unmarried Male candidates born between January 2, 1992 and January 1, 1997
  • Air Force Academy – Unmarried male candidates born between January 2, 1992 and January 1, 1996
  • OTA – Candidates (both male and female) born between January 2, 1991 and January 1, 1997

Educational Qualifications – Candidatesappearing for CDS (I) 2015 Exam for IMA, INA, Air Force Academy and OTA need to have following respective educational qualification to be considered eligible.

  • IMA and OTA – Graduation Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or recognized equivalent institution
  • INA – Degree in Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent institution
  • Air Force Academy – Graduation Degree from a recognized University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level)/Bachelor of Engineering

For CDS EXAMINATION, you can start with going through the previous few years question papers and try solving them that will help you find where do you stand. you need to work on your written English language and skills as well as be upto date on the day to day general knowledge while having a elementary knowledge about mathematics.  You can start reading newspaper which will help you in general knowledge as well improve your English. Will I be able to clear medical of CDS if i got my hand burnt by cracker and is ok now.

In medical test, they usually check the Height, weight. They also check for amy visual, auditory deformities. They will take a Chest X ray to rule out any Chest infections. Hand burn is a scar and it us not a deformity or an illness. So if the rest of the parameters are good, then there should be no reason why you would not clear the Medical fitness test. All that matters is that you should be in good Physical and Mental health and be free from any deformity or disease that might interfere with performing your duties efficiently.

My date of birth is 10th july,1999.Can I apply for cds in 2023?

Hello aspirant,

Yes you can apply for CDS in 2023. According to CDS eligibility criteria candidate's minimum age should be 20 & maximum age should be 24 years. Is spectacles allow a candidates can select with spectacles

Dear aspirant,

yes you can apply for CDS exam even if you have spectacles however you will not be able to get into the air force and flying department because of your spectacles.

you could however go for logistics and administration even if you have your spectacles.
