CDS Admit Card 2020 - Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will release the CDS 2020 admit card in January 2020. The admit card of CDS 2020 will be released in online mode at upsc.gov.in. In order to download CDS admit card 2020, candidates have to enter their registration or roll number and date of birth. Candidates can download CDS 2020 admit card until the day of examination. How to download CDS 2020 Admit Card?

Given below are the steps that the candidates need to follow to download the admit card of CDS 2020 examination -

  1. Go to the official website - upsc.gov.in

  2. Go to the ‘Active Examinations’ section in the ‘Examination’ option on the menu bar

  3. Go to CDS 2020 examination and click on ‘Click Here’ written against ‘e-Admit Card’

  4. Now click on ‘Click Here To Download e-Admit Card’

  5. An instructions page will open, read the instructions and click on ‘Yes’

  6. Enter your registration ID and date of birth in the login window that appears.

  7. Enter the captcha code and submit.

CDS 2020 Admit Card - Technical Instructions

Candidates who wish to avoid any technical error while downloading the admit card must follow the instructions below:

  • Use the latest versions of Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox browsers.

  • Candidates must not use mobile phones or other gadgets for downloading e-admit card.

  • If there is any problem in downloading e-Admit card using suggested browsers then candidates must clear the cache and cookies in the browser settings. In case they are still unable to download the e-Admit card then they should wait and try to download the admit card using another computer system.

  • If the site shows error while loading, it means there is a lot of congestion. In this case the candidates must wait a little while and try again.

CDS 2020 Exam Day Instructions

  • Use of mobile phones, calculators and other electronic gadgets and accessories are not allowed inside the examination centre.

  • Candidates must use black ball pen for marking responses on the Answer Sheet and filling details on the test booklet and OMR sheet.

  • Candidates should not write their name or anything other than the specific items of information asked, on the answer sheet/ test booklet/ sheet for rough work.

  • Candidates are requested not to fold or mutilate or damage or put any extraneous marking in the Answer Sheet.

CDS Exam Pattern 2020

The exam pattern prescribed for CDS written examination is different for those applying for Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy, and Air Force Academy than those applying for Officers’ Training Academy. As per CDS exam pattern 2020 for IMA, INA and AFA has three papers - English (120 questions), general knowledge (120 questions) and mathematics (100 questions). Each paper is conducted for 100 marks. Candidates are given 2 hours to attempt each paper. Candidates taking the exam for OTA only have to appear for 2 papers - English and general knowledge.

Candidates who have applied for CDS exam must have a rock-solid preparation plan. Candidates must segregate their time subject-wise and spend some extra time on the topics that they find difficult. You may apply for this post !! Kindly note that Air force Academy mentioned that the candidate Date of birth should not be prior to 1.1.2000. Since you have born on 08.01.2000, after the specified date, you may proceed for application. If any age issue is there, you won't be able to submit application. If your able to submit the application successfully, you can assure that you are with the age limt. Star preparing for exams. If any doubts, pls feel free to ask.

can i join cds after lasik laser eye treatment ?

Hello,

If you have undergone a L.A.S.I.K treatment 1 year before medical examination before the age of 20. You can get a post in a technical field like Aeronautical engineer, Basic air staff, ground duty officers, an officer in medical IAF and also in IAF- pilot flying aircraft and helicopters. Your eye axial length must be less than 25.5 mm and your residual corneal thickness should be more than 450 microns.

I had got 53 %in 12 class .can I give paper of CDS

Hello,

The minimum eligibility criteria for appearing the paper of CDS exam 2020 as per the rules of UPSC are that-

1. The person should have age ranging from 19 to 24 years

2. The person must be a citizen of India

3. The person must have completed his graduation.

So, the percentage of 12th doesn't matters. The only thing is that you should satisfy the above minimum requirements.

You can't appear for CDS Examination until you have a graduate degree from a recognized university. Being a diploma holder, you are unable to apply for CDS. You must be a graduate first. However, final year graduation students can apply. Beside this, there are other criteria also like applicants age should be within 20-24 years.
