Bihar TET 2019 – Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) will conduct the Bihar TET (BTET) exam for the recruitment of Teachers in Primary and Middle Schools tentatively in the month of June 2019. Earlier Bihar TET used to refer as BETET (Bihar Elementary Teacher Eligibility Test). The application form of BTET 2019 is likely to be released in the last week of April 2019. Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria first before applying for the exam. Only the eligible candidates will be able to fill the application form of Bihar TET 2019. The Board will conduct the Bihar TET 2019 in two papers – Paper I for the candidates who want to become teachers in class 1 to 5 and paper II for the candidates who want to become teachers in Class 6 to 8.

The conducting body has determined the eligibility criteria for the recruitment of teachers on the basis of Age and Educational Qualification.
BTET Eligibility Criteria - Educational Qualification
For Primary levels class (I to V) Teachers
Aspiring candidates must have passed Higher Secondary with minimum 50 percent marks.
Must have passed 12th class with minimum 45 percent and two year’s training in elementary education under National Teacher Education Council.
Must have passed 12th class with minimum 50 percent and 4 year of elementary education training.
Must have passed 12th class with minimum 50 percent and candidates for the final year in the biennial training and has passed TET organized by the Central or Bihar State Government
For Upper Primary levels class ( VI to VIII) Teachers
A candidate must hold graduation degree and must be enrolled in the first year of a two-year training in primary education.
Must hold a graduation degree with minimum 50 percent marks, and enrolled in the first year of B. Ed.
A candidate must hold a graduate degree with minimum 45 percent marks in B.Ed according to National Teacher Education Council.
A candidate must have passed 12th with minimum 50 percent marks and must be 4 years old elementary education graduate (BLA) or a candidate of last year.

BSCB will release the Bihar TET application form tentatively in the last week of April 2019. Candidates would be able to fill the application form of Bihar TET 2019 in online mode. The application form of Bihar TET is divided into five parts:

Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria of Bihar TET 2019 before applying or filling the application form. Also, they are advised to fill the form only if they fit the eligibility criteria.

Candidates can pay the application fees in online mode through Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking. An e-receipt will be generated after the successful payment of the application fee. Candidates must take a print out of the same. It must be kept in mind by the candidates that the application fee of Bihar TET 2019 application form is non-refundable.
BSCB conducts Bihar TET 2019 exam at various centres across the state of Bihar. Candidates can choose their preferred exam centres while filing the application form of Bihar TET exam.

BTET question papers are available officially for the candidates to refer, before they appear for the actual test. Candidates can download Bihar TET (BETET) admit card 2019 by using their application number and password. Candidates will be barred from appearing in the examination if they fail to bring a printed copy of the application form of Bihar TET. Candidates must also carry a photo identity proof along with the copy of the BTET hall ticket.
BETET 2019 answer key will be made available by the exam conducting after the exam gets over. Candidates can go through the answer key of Bihar TET so that they get an idea of how well they have performed in the exam. By referring to the Bihar TET 2019 answer key, candidates can calculate the expected marks they will score in the test and can predict the probability of getting selected.
BSEB will declare the result of BTET in online mode for both paper 1 and paper 2. All those candidates who qualify the exam will be recruited as teachers of classes selected by the candidates in the application form of BTET 2019.
In order to select the candidates, BSEB decides qualifying marks which must be scored by the candidates to qualify the written exam of BTET. BSEB will fix the cutoff scores/qualifying marks which is considered to be the passing marks for the examination.
