AFCAT Salary 2020 - Indian Air Force (IAF) mentions AFCAT 2020 Salary in its official notification and also the website @afcat.cdac.in. Candidates looking to appear for AFCAT 2020 exam must go through the salary of AFCAT 2020 and know about the pay scale and benefits they will be getting after being commissioned. As per IAF, the AFCAT salary scale comprises of basic salary and various other benefits. Along with the basic AFCAT salary 2020, selected candidates are also entitled to various other allowances like dearness allowance (DA), travel allowances (TA), house rent allowances (HRA), loan facilities, children education etc. According to the official notification of AFCAT 2020, a candidate even before being commissioned as an Air Force Officer will earn a monthly stipend of Rs. 56,100/- during their last one year training period at any of the training institutions. Latest: AFCAT 2 2020 application form released on June 15, the last date to fill the form is July 14. IAF released new AFCAT exam dates on June 10.
IAF conducts AFCAT 2020 exam to recruit candidates into three branches - Flying duty, Technical duty and Ground duty. Once a candidate successfully qualifies AFCAT and completes the training, they will be put in either of these three branches based on their performance. While filling up the AFCAT application form candidates will be able to choose the respective branches.
The following AFCAT salary pay would be applicable on the grant of Commission to Flying Officers:-
Pay in Pay Band (Common to all Branches) - Rs 56,100 Per Month (The officer will be placed in Level 10 in the Pay Matrix of VIIth CPC - 56,100-1,10,700).
Military Service Pay:- Rs 15,500 Per Month.
Apart from this, the newly Commissioned Officers in Flying and Technical Branches will also get:-

Promotions in AFCAT
The promotions are applicable on the basis of the timescale for the first three ranks. For the other posts, the promotions are done on the basis of selection which depends upon the frequency with which the job positions get vacant. Promotion after this stage becomes a little abrupt because of the pyramidal promotional scene.
Once an individual has served the Flying officers for complete 3 years, they will be promoted to Flight lieutenants. They will have to qualify a department test to be eligible.
The Air Force is currently hiring Commissioned Officers as Flying Officers. So, Technical Officers who are actually engineers are provided seniority of 2 years for the purpose of pay and promotion as compared to Officers of the IAF.
If a candidate completes 6 years of service IAF, they will be granted the rank of Squadron Leader.
To climb up in the hierarchy, all Officers are mandatory to clear the promotion exam ‘C’ (Departmental).

The Age eligibility criteria for AFCAT 2020 it that the candidates applying for Flying branch must age between 20 and 24 years while those applying for Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) branch must age between 20 to 26 years of age. To be eligible you must fulfill the following:
- An Indian Citizen,
- Age Limit: 1. Flying Branch : 20-24 Years, Candidates having Commercial Pilot Licence is relaxed to 20-26 Years.
2. Ground Duty(Technical and Non Technical ): 20-26 Years
- Candidates below 25 years of age must be unmarried at the time of commencement of course.
- Widows/Widowers and divorcees below 25 years of age are also not eligible.
- Candidates who marry to the date of his application though successful at SSB or medical will not be eligible for training.
- Those who marry during the period of training will be discharged and will be liable to refund all expenditure incurred on him by the government.
- Married candidates above 25 years are eligible to apply but during their training period, they will neither be provided married accommodation nor can they live with family.
Minimum of 60% in Maths and Physics at Class 12 and
Graduation in any discipline with 60% or equivalent.
- Ground Duty ( Technical Branch ): Passed Class 10+2 with 60% marks each in Physics and Mathematics and four years degree Engineering/ Technology
- Ground Duty ( Non Technical Branch): Graduation in any discipline with minimum 60%

yes you are eligible for afcat examination . for eligible in afcat examination you should qualify its educational and age criteria , that all. if you qualify this then you are eligible . you should have a ug degree and you should be of age 21 years .

I got 59.54 % aggregates in bsc graduation. but I hv 60 % above in 10+2 th in physics and math. am I eligible for afcat???
Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) eligibility criteria is,
since you have completed graduation course in b.sc you are eligible to apply for flying branch and ground duty non technical branches. but the eligibility is, candidates must secure 60% marks in graduation course, since your marks in graduation is below 60% you are not eligible to apply.

As you are in your final year of your graduation you are still an appearing candidate. You need to enter the percentage which you have obtained upto the last semester or year for which the results are declared. If you have semesters then you can enter the percentage which you have obtained uptill 5th semester if the results were declared if not enter the percentage which you have obtained uptill 4th semester. If there are no semesters then enter the percentage which you have obtained uptill 2nd year.
