AFCAT Exam Pattern 2020 - Indian Air Force (IAF) has released the AFCAT 2020 exam pattern along with its notification at the official website. As per exam pattern of AFCAT 2020, the test will be conducted in online mode. The online test, according to the AFCAT exam pattern 2020, will be conducted for 100 questions from general awareness, verbal ability, numerical ability and reasoning and aptitude test with 120 minutes to complete the test. AFCAT 2020 exam pattern states that the ground duty (technical) branch candidates have to take an additional online test - Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT). As per AFCAT exam pattern 2020, the test will comprise objective type questions in English. The qualifying cutoff marks for each stage of AFCAT will be determined by Indian Air Force.

Earlier IAF has released AFCAT 2020 Result at its official website on March 17.
IAF conducts the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) for the flying branch and ground duty branches as Group A Gazetted Officers. These are the technical and non technical branches. AFCAT is an entry to two types of commission, permanent commission for men and short service commission for men and women. The test, as per AFCAT exam pattern 2020 is held in two stages, written examination and AFSB (Air Force Selection Board) test. AFCAT 2020 is scheduled to be conducted on September 19 and 20 in online mode across 104 cities in the country. Candidates will be able to download their AFCAT admit Card 2020 tentatively from September 1. A copy of the admit card will also be sent to the registered email of the applicants.
Highlights of AFCAT 2020 Exam Pattern
The exam pattern of AFCAT 2020 states that the difficulty level of questions asked in numerical ability section is similar to that of Class 10 level.
Based on the AFCAT exam pattern 2020, questions asked in general awareness, verbal ability in english and reasoning and military aptitude are comparable to the standard of graduation level.
3 marks will be allotted for each correct answer.
1 mark each is reduced as AFCAT negative marking for the wrong answers.
There are a total of 100 questions in the online test according to AFCAT 2020 exam pattern.
The AFACT total marks allotted for the test will be 300.
AFCAT online test will be held for 120 minutes.

As per the exam pattern of AFCAT 2020, the online test comprises four sections - general awareness, verbal ability, numerical ability, and reasoning and aptitude test. The difficulty level of questions asked in the Numerical Ability section is similar to that of Class 10 level while the questions asked in the other sections are comparable to the standard of graduation level. There are a total of 100 questions in the online test. The AFCAT total marks allotted for the test will be 300. AFCAT online test will be held for 120 minutes.

AFCAT 2020 Marking Scheme
Indian Air Force (IAF) prescribes the marking scheme of AFCAT. The exam contains only objective type questions. Based on the exam pattern, candidates are awarded 3 marks for every correct answer and 1 mark is deducted as AFCAT negative mark for each incorrect response. However, no marks are deducted for questions that have been left unattempted by candidates.

AFCAT Exam Pattern 2020 – AFSB Interview
Air Force Selection Board (AFSB) will conduct an interview round for candidates who qualify the online test. AFSB Interview will be conducted in three stages. On the basis of AFCAT exam pattern 2020, candidates are advised to be physically fit when they report for SSB in order to be able to undergo various tests at AFSB.
The three stages of AFSB interview are as follows:
Stage 1 – The first stage of AFSB Interview, as per AFCAT 2020 exam pattern, includes officer intelligence rating test followed by picture perception and discussion test. This stage of interview is qualifying in nature. On the basis of performance in the stage 1 interview, candidates will be selected for Stage 2. Candidates qualifying this stage will be called for document verification to determine whether these candidates fulfill all eligibility conditions of the posts they have applied for.
Stage 2 – Applicants who have cleared Stage 1 of AFSB Interview will be eligible to participate in Stage 2. According to the AFCAT 2020 exam pattern, this stage comprises psychological test followed by group tests and interview.
Stage 3 - Candidates who have applied for flying branch will have to undergo an additional test - computerised pilot selection system (CPSS). This test can be taken only once.
IAF has prescribed the AFCAT 2020 syllabus along with the official notification. AFCAT 2020 syllabus contains all topics and chapters from where the questions can be asked in the test. AFCAT syllabus 2020 contains topics from four sections – English, General Awareness, Numerical Ability and Reasoning and Military Aptitude Test.
Candidates will receive AFCAT 2020 admit card on their registered email ID. A direct link of the admit card of AFCAT will also be made available at the website- afcat.cdac.in after it is released by IAF. Candidates must click on ‘Download Admit Card’ to check their AFCAT admit card 2020 from the website. Candidates need to use the AFCAT sign-in and enter their registered email ID, password and captcha.

No sectional cut off is there in AFCAT. But candidates need to score as per the cut offs set by the exam conducting board for AFCAT and EKT differently.

The Age eligibility criteria for AFCAT 2020 it that the candidates applying for Flying branch must age between 20 and 24 years while those applying for Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) branch must age between 20 to 26 years of age. To be eligible you must fulfill the following:
- An Indian Citizen,
- Age Limit: 1. Flying Branch : 20-24 Years, Candidates having Commercial Pilot Licence is relaxed to 20-26 Years.
2. Ground Duty(Technical and Non Technical ): 20-26 Years
- Candidates below 25 years of age must be unmarried at the time of commencement of course.
- Widows/Widowers and divorcees below 25 years of age are also not eligible.
- Candidates who marry to the date of his application though successful at SSB or medical will not be eligible for training.
- Those who marry during the period of training will be discharged and will be liable to refund all expenditure incurred on him by the government.
- Married candidates above 25 years are eligible to apply but during their training period, they will neither be provided married accommodation nor can they live with family.
Minimum of 60% in Maths and Physics at Class 12 and
Graduation in any discipline with 60% or equivalent.
- Ground Duty ( Technical Branch ): Passed Class 10+2 with 60% marks each in Physics and Mathematics and four years degree Engineering/ Technology
- Ground Duty ( Non Technical Branch): Graduation in any discipline with minimum 60%

yes you are eligible for afcat examination . for eligible in afcat examination you should qualify its educational and age criteria , that all. if you qualify this then you are eligible . you should have a ug degree and you should be of age 21 years .

Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) eligibility criteria is,
since you have completed graduation course in b.sc you are eligible to apply for flying branch and ground duty non technical branches. but the eligibility is, candidates must secure 60% marks in graduation course, since your marks in graduation is below 60% you are not eligible to apply.

As you are in your final year of your graduation you are still an appearing candidate. You need to enter the percentage which you have obtained upto the last semester or year for which the results are declared. If you have semesters then you can enter the percentage which you have obtained uptill 5th semester if the results were declared if not enter the percentage which you have obtained uptill 4th semester. If there are no semesters then enter the percentage which you have obtained uptill 2nd year.
