AAI Recruitment 2019 - Airports Authority of India (AAI) has released the notification for the recruitment for Co-Pilots. A total of 132 vacancies have been released for recruitment. To register candidates have to download the application form format online, fill the form and with the other required documents and register on the day of interview between 10.30 to 12.30 on the prescribed venue. Candidates who have passed class 12 from a recognized Board/University as well as technical qualifications and are between 35 years of age can appear for Walk-in-Interview on July 3, 2019, organised by the examination authority. AAI Recruitment 2019 exam is conducted to recruit eligible candidates as Managers and Junior Executives in various posts available under the examination.

The conducting authority will also release the online application form of the exam along with the notification. AAI recruitment 2019 exam is conducted in the online mode. After the completion of the online test, the authority will prepare the result. On the basis of the result, candidates will be selected for document verification/interview/physical measurement/endurance test/voice test. After interview, AAI will prepare the final result of the exam as per marks secured in the online test and interview. Based on the final result, candidates will be recruited as Manager and Junior Executive cadre with pay of Rs. 15 lac and Rs. 11 lacs per annum respectively. AAI recruitment 2019 is also done through GATE, the selection process of which starts in April.

AAI 2019 Recruitment Exam – Pay Scale

Candidates recruited as managers for the post available under AAI recruitment will be paid Rs. 15 lacs per annum while for Junior Executive posts, the salary will be Rs. 11 lacs per annum. Additionally, candidates will be eligible for Dearness Allowance, Perks (35% of basic pay), HRA and other benefits such as CPF, Gratuity, Social Security Schemes, Medical Benefit, etc. The pay scale of both positions has been provided in the table below.

AAI Recuitment 2019 – Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria of the recruitment exam are as follows:

Nationality: Candidates must be Indian citizens to be eligible to apply for the examination

Age limit: The age of candidates applying for manager positions should be less than 32 years while candidates of junior executive posts must not exceed 27 years of age. The age of candidates will be calculated on the basis of age as on June 30, 2019.

AAI 2019 Recruitment – Application Form

AAI will release the application form of AAI exam in the online mode. The dates related to the application form will be available along with the notification for the exam. After filling the application form, candidates have to pay the application fee of Rs. 100. However, SC/ST/PwD and female candidates are exempted from paying the application fee. The fee can be paid using internet banking or Debit/Credit card.


Steps to fill AAI application form 2019:

  • Click on the link available on www.aai.aero under ‘CAREERS’ tab

  • Register using valid email ID

  • Next, provide relevant information such as personal, academic and other relevant details

  • Upload scanned copy of photograph and signature

  • Print copy of ‘Registration Slip’

  • Next, enter AAI application number and date of birth

  • Details provided during registration will be displayed on screen

  • Verify the details and click on ‘Confirm’

  • Pay the application fee by clicking on ‘Make Online Payment’


AAI Recruitment 2019 – Syllabus

The conducting authority will prescribe the syllabus of AAI recruitment exam individually for the different positions – Managers and Junior Executives. AAI syllabus will provide the subjects and topics required for the examination. With the help of the syllabus, candidates can start their preparation for the exam.


AAI Recruitment 2019 – Admit Card

The admit card of AAI 2019 exam will be issued in the online mode. AAI admit card will be released for candidates who successfully register for the examination. The hall ticket will contain details such as name of candidates, registration number, date of birth, roll number, date, time and venue of the exam and other relevant information. After downloading the admit card, candidates should scrutinise the same for errors. In case of discrepancies in the admit card, candidates must contact the authority and get the same rectified immediately.

AAI Recruitment 2019 – Question Papers

Candidates should practice previous years’ question papers to understand different aspects of the exam such as difficulty level of the exam, types of questions asked in the exam, section-wise exam pattern, marking scheme, etc. AAI does not release the official question paper as the examination is conducted in the online mode. However, various coaching institutes publish the question papers after the conclusion of the exam. By practising question papers on a regular basis, candidates can improve their performance in the test as it enhances time-management and question solving skills.


AAI Recruitment 2019 – Result

Airports Authority of India (AAI) will declare the result of AAI recruitment 2019 in the online mode. AAI result 2019 will be released as a pdf file containing the roll number of candidates who have qualified the online test and have been selected to appear for the interview.


AAI Recruitment Cut Off 2018

The cut off of AAI 2019 will be released along with the result of the exam. The cut off is the minimum marks that candidates must secure in the exam to be selected for the next stage of the recruitment process. Candidates securing the minimum cut off or more in the exam will be shortlisted to appear for the interview. AAI cut off is prepared separately for each category. AAI Recruitment Selection Process 2019

AAI recruitment 2019 examination is conducted online. On the basis of the online test, candidates are shortlisted to appear for document verification/interview/physical measurement/endurance test/voice test. After interview, the authorities will prepare the final cut off. Candidates securing equal to or more than the final cut off will be recruited for the specific post they have applied for during registration. Candidates selected for recruitment will be issued joining letter, containing date and time of joining and reporting venue. Selected candidates have to undergo six months of training in which candidates will receive basic pay along with other admissible allowances. After completion of training, candidates appointed as Manager and Junior Executive post will have to execute a surety bond of Rs. 6 lac and 5 lacs respectively to serve AAI for the next three years.
